Concerned About Ring Size and Testicle Color While Locked Up?

Hi there, I picked up my CB6000s about three weeks back. When I was testing them out, the medium ring didn’t feel quite right for me, so I went with one size larger instead. It worked well enough—I could sleep in it and all—but it felt a bit loose, sort of hanging off my testicles rather than hugging both my penis and scrotum closer to my pelvis. Lately, I’ve wanted to give the medium ring another shot. As mentioned earlier, sitting higher up near the pelvis lets more of my shaft fill the tube, which makes urination easier and improves overall comfort. I’ve slept in it for four nights straight with no major issues, but while awake, if I get a solid erection lasting around 30 minutes while locked up, I notice my testicles darken slightly. They aren’t turning blue or purple, just getting redder and darker with a subtle hint of blue. Whenever the 4 AM stiffness hits, I check them with a flashlight; they look fine—arguably less blue than if I’d spent those same 30 minutes in locked-up play with my girlfriend. As I said, it’s been four days and nights without removal, and my testicles are still very much attached. My only concern is whether that slight bluish tint during an erection is something to watch out for when the shaft bulges up. I’d really prefer to stick with this size unless there’s a genuine issue here. Does anyone think adding some padding or support to the locking ring might help secure it better even if I use the larger ring? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Here’s my method for checking. If my scrotum turns dark blue to purple, it worries me a bit. However, if they get darker than usual—whether red or blue—while erect but return to normal once soft, I’m not concerned. Also, at ANY TIME the sac feels colder than typical, I take immediate steps to remove whatever is causing the issue. The reason I don’t panic over slight color changes when wearing a device is that I observe this same phenomenon even without one. For instance, if LRC teases me throughout an evening into nightfall, I notice my skin discolors slightly due to high excitement and denial. To me, this seems like just part of the natural bodily response during arousal.

I’m also with Locked by LRC. Personally, I don’t want to see my sac get much darker than normal at all. If it feels cold, I address it immediately. Also, pay attention to other signals your body gives you too. If something doesn't seem right, stop and try a different approach. -A

Atone, it might just be me, but since doing full-time chastity, I’ve noticed a color shift when highly excited. Initially, I monitored it closely and found this happened whether my base ring was on or off. I attributed it to the concept of "Blue Balls." Does that make sense? Once the erection goes down and I am fully flaccid again, the normal color returns quickly. Then LRC decides to play her games, and the discoloration happens all over again. She says blue is becoming her favorite hue on me!
