Steelworxx Ring Conversation

Hi everyone, I’m in the market for a Steelworxx CD and figured it would be wise to gather your collective wisdom on his wide range of ring choices. From what I’ve gathered, the options include: **Standard A ring **(with or without an integrated lock)

Anatomical A ring (with or without an integrated lock) - this one curves at the base toward the anus to better match the body’s contours **Hinged A ring **- comes without an integrated lock option and features a rubber cover over both the hinge and locking pin **Bipartite A Ring **- also lacks the integrated lock option, consisting of two separate pieces with a locking pin A Rings featuring Spikes - (with or without an integrated lock) I’d love to hear your thoughts on Steelworxx rings!

Initially, I was leaning towards either the Normal or Anatomical A Ring. However, lately I've been swayed by how quickly you can remove it with the Cb6000, which has pushed me more toward the 2 Piece A Ring. That said, I'm concerned that the metal connection on the side of the ring might pinch more than the plastic joints found in the CB models. Does anyone have any insights to share regarding their experience with Steelworxx's hinged or two-piece rings? Thanks!

I'm not a fan of the "Anatomical" ring and never wear it. I believe the issue is that it creates too much space, which feels uncomfortable to me. I'd definitely recommend going with the integrated lock; it's very sturdy and discreet. Plus, unlike many other integrated locks on the market, this one uses a genuine key. In my view, it's well worth the extra cost. While I haven't used their hinged or two-piece rings myself, I'd advise avoiding them based on what I know about CB rings. I've found that the smallest ring size fits me and can be put on and taken off without too much hassle. I'm confident I could manage a smaller one for removal, but it might not stay comfortable enough to sleep in. If you find yourself needing to take the device out often while aroused, then a multi-part ring makes sense. We don't have that issue though:) Are you certain the Bipartite ring isn't available with an integrated lock? I thought the same thing until I spotted a photo of one somewhere. You might want to double-check with him if that's what you're after. -A

We ordered a Steelheart equipped with an integrated lock and a dual cock ring 'front' unit that shares the same locking mechanism. This allows you to swap the front piece without having to remove the main 'A' ring. I chose the size that matches the loop on my homemade device. Even though it's only 3mm larger than the Comfort Ring included in the tube, I took care to test its fit while sleeping, getting hard and soft, urinating, and just living with a curtain-ring-sized device for a bit before placing the order. It might feel tight initially, but considering the added weight of metal devices, I opted for a snug fit rather than one that slips.

I own both the Normal and anatomical rings for my steelheart, sized at 44mm and 42mm respectively. I prefer the anatomical ring because it lets my testicles hang more naturally, whereas the normal ring tends to fan them out. The normal style pushes them up and outward a bit, which leaves them slightly more exposed to accidental bumps or being squished against my pants. The downside with the anatomical ring that I'm noticing is increased discomfort at night after about two days of wear. It's possible this is due to its shape, or because it is 2mm smaller than the normal one, or perhaps because my nighttime erections have grown slightly larger after being locked for over two weeks. I may need more time in the larger ring before trying the anatomical one again. For daytime wear, the smaller ring feels better, so hopefully, I'll adjust to it soon. Despite these "cons" mentioned above, the steelheart is infinitely more comfortable than either the CB6000 or the short model. This was a comparison between those two rings, and overall both are very comfortable for me at least.

I have the Bipartite A Ring. I wouldn't recommend it. The joint has sharp edges that pinch and cause irritation. Additionally, the joint is secured with an allen head set screw which can be fiddly to work with. As a result, I usually just use it like a solid ring by putting it on already assembled. No experience with the hinged ring.

I'm wearing the "normal" A ring with an integrated lock on my Steelheart. I have both a 42mm and 43mm version available. Most of the time, I use the 42mm ring and find it very comfortable. While I was fine in my cb-6000s, the Steelheart with this normal ring feels far more comfortable. One thing I noticed almost right away is that it never pinches me during daily activities; earlier, I did experience occasional pinching with the cb-6000.

Go for a solid ring that includes an integrated lock. As others have mentioned, hinged or bipart rings can leave seams that may cause irritation over time.

I'm a big fan of the anatomical ring. I've tried two different sizes and wish I still had both (though that's another story regarding how one got lost). With flat rings, I always get that nasty burning sensation right at the base of my balls. (Does anyone know if there is an actual name for it?). The anatomical design provides just a little extra room for the scrotum to pass through, which solved the problem for me. The downside is that you increase the chance of one testicle popping back out through the ring. In my case, this sounds more painful than it actually feels; mostly it's just an annoyance. The real issue arises when the other ball pops through as well, causing the device to slide down your pants and onto the floor. Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with that yet since my PA holds everything in place nicely.

You are going to have to cut it off. I have never tried on the steelworxx lock cylinder but it would probably not be too difficult with a few basic tools. The lock is held in place by a brass tab on the end that is exposed. It would have to be broken off and ground down enough to drive the cylinder out. With a little care it could be done without damaging the device. -A

I'm sure it would but it might not be clean enough of a break to get the cylinder out without a little more work. The same heavy flat-headed screwdriver would probably do the trick. -A

The manufacturer is Burg Wachter. I've found the product online, but I've never searched for key cutting for them. They're a big manufacturer, though, so while I doubt the local Home Depot can cut them, I suspect a locksmith or more specialized hardware store could.

Well, my balls are very low and loose... So would the anatomical ring be good for me or does it work better with high and tight balls? on a side note, i think my genitals are perfect for trapped ball devices! One ball is lower than the other and the balls are hung low so my 3 members are all lined up nicely for getting through a ring!

Unless I'm cold, I hang pretty loose and am doing well with the normal rings on my Steelheart. The only member here that I can think of that likes the anatomical ring is Elwood in Chastity. Of course, we're all different!
