A comfort adjustment to consider

I placed this in the Devices section since it relates to comfort. Veterans here might already know this, but newcomers could find it useful as they ease into round-the-clock wearing.

It’s been about four months of doing this intermittently. Often, the device essentially vanishes from my awareness when I’m not aroused; that adjustment period usually lasts a few days. Recently, after reinserting mine and waiting several hours, I realized things felt significantly more comfortable than usual for that stage. Curious as to why, I looked down and saw my CB had shifted about 5-10 degrees toward the right. Since I naturally hang lower on the right side compared to the left, this slight rotation seems like a more natural resting position.

This comfort extended beyond just sitting; walking, bending over, and climbing into the car all felt smoother. It’s such an easy fix but could make quite a difference for some of you. Just wanted to share.

I've seen plenty of guys mention rotation as well. It likely comes down to individual anatomy and what feels right when you're wearing trousers. That's where the joke about "left or right" dressing always pops up when getting custom pants made! Our bodies just seem to prefer a slight angle there!

I wish mine would stay put. I'm always having to realign it. It's become too large for me now; it might be time to get a new device.

However, that might also be because I switched to a smaller ring for the Steelheart (starting with 44mm, then dropping to 42mm), and now I'm waiting for one just slightly smaller still (41mm). I'm not certain if the reduced size makes a difference, but it feels like it should. If I were wearing a larger ring right now, it would definitely wander around more; back when those fit okay at the time.
