Skin Damage Issues

I’ve got a tender patch where the scrotum joins the underside of my penis. Months back I gave the cage’s base ring a good sanding and polish, but this sore has returned after spending several days and nights wearing it. The trouble spot is right atop that small skin ridge extending down from the scrotum. Does anyone else have this issue? Right now I’m taking it easy and applying healing cream to manage it. K

Is the area just tender, or is there actual blistering, abrasion, or broken skin? Have you been applying any lubricant? I noted elsewhere that I had some issues and increased my lube use, but it actually made things worse. Once I stopped using lube, the problem ceased. After being locked up nearly constantly for almost a year, Mrs. Twisted noticed recently that my skin feels somewhat rougher and tougher than before. I occasionally get a tender spot, particularly near the CB3k’s hinge rivet, but moving the scrotal skin through the base ring usually fixes it. I rarely use lube these days. I just apply a bit of baby oil now and then if I shift too far back in the cage; it's very sparingly and mostly on top. When I do apply it, I typically do so while showering using soap as lubricant, or rinse off immediately after to ensure no residue remains.

The skin is indeed abraded with a tiny bit of blood. The area is quite sensitive to touch, suggesting the outer layer has been rubbed off. I tried an adhesive bandage when I first noticed it forming; while it stopped any pain, it didn't prevent the sore from turning into a real (though superficial) wound. I’ve observed that my skin tends to adhere to the device's metal after bathing. Adding olive oil to the bathwater or using an oily cream post-bath helps with this sticking issue. K

I haven't used proper lubricant in months; instead, I apply a small amount of hand lotion to my scrotum and around the ring after morning showers and again before bed. Even with the lotion, I use very little—too much tends to make things worse rather than better.

this is what was happening to me too... but its almost all cleared out.. I changed my cockring to a bigger one 1 7/8" and a tighter gap.. and i got a ring made out with the rod welded on top of the ring.. this seems to be working .. I can wear the device now 24/7.. and feels very good.. No pain at all, cept when im getting some serious night time erections, but I love that pain..:D Take a look at my avatar you can see the ring..
