I want to have my account closed because some folks are being jerks and accusing me of lying. I consider myself a very honest person. My personal perspective on chastity differs from the majority, and since I’ve genuinely described things like losing my keys, others feel compelled to question me. But I’m done with it.

Paulie, a quick look at definitions for asexuality shows various interpretations. Yet they share a core idea: not participating in sexual "activities". Masturbation counts as one, and so does chastity. Maybe clarifying your personal definition would help? Others here have pointed out what seem like obvious contradictions in your posts. That's normal and actually adds to the good debate we enjoy. Also remember, no one made you join or post here. No one will make you stay. Once something is on the Internet... well, it tends to remain there. Closing your account won't erase that history. You don't need to search far for an explanation of asexuality; Wikipedia is fine. Not feeling attraction or wanting a sexual relationship with others doesn't prevent someone from being into chastity, in my view. I recall at least one comment on this board that felt quite judgmental toward Paulie, directly questioning his take on his own asexuality and labeling him as an exhibitionist ranting away. It wasn't really a debate. Honestly, I was taken aback. If I could recall the specific thread, I'd link it. I think the better approach is for mods and Paulie to discuss that particular post privately rather than having a public argument about what constitutes asexuality. (Edited a typo)

Paulie67; if I was the cause of this thread, please accept my apology. My intentions were not harsh. As celticquees_sub mentioned, I had questions for you. I believed a forum is meant for discussing topics that arise. You made a statement, and after looking into it myself, I asked those questions. If you haven't seen it yet, please read my reply to you in the "Do People Know" thread.

If you were truly saying that "people feel the need to judge and doubt, and I am over it," this thread wouldn't exist. The truth is you are an exhibitionist in every sense. You enjoy drawing attention... whether through your (somewhat offensive to me) avatar, your overly dramatic posts, or this little tantrum; your main desire seems to be for everyone to look at you.
