Hi, I’m thinking about purchasing a Looker 02 from Steelworxx in Germany. Does anyone here have experience with this CB? I am still unsure regarding the sizes and the removable penis plug (specifically its length). Thanks for your responses. Bert, Netherlands.
There might be someone here with one that has the removable plug; I can't quite recall who though. I find it fascinating but am not certain I could manage it long-term. At one point, I had a fixating device with a penis plug for my Steelheart. I believe the Looker would likely feel more comfortable, however. The fixing model had too many spots where things could pinch or shift.
Dear Bert, I am also from the Netherlands and currently using a Looker 01, which is essentially the same device. For me, it works perfectly and is very comfortable to wear even with a non-removable plug. It takes some time to get used to... but once you do... perfect! Best regards, Cardolas
I wore a Looker 02 for a while. After an initial break-in period, I could wear it for two weeks without issue. We didn't stop because of problems, but because I was set free;-) My Looker 02 had a fixed plug. The device itself was 75mm long, and the total plug length was 100mm, meaning it extended about 25mm beyond the A-Ring. My first device came with an 110mm plug (extending 35mm beyond the A-ring). However, when I sent the device back to Dietmar for modifications—I wanted extra bars at the front because I didn't want to be able to touch my glans—I also asked him to shorten the plug slightly since it felt a bit too long. This was noticeable when sitting and moving around, causing the plug in the urethra to shift. Experiences with plugs vary. Some people like me have no trouble at all. During break-in, you can feel the plug, but I started slowly: wearing it for a few hours daily, then half-days, then overnight (but not during the day)... and so on until I stopped feeling it entirely, after which I could wear it 24/7... The most important thing is to drink plenty of water during break-in because urination helps keep the plug clean and flushes out anything that might irritate the urethra. I think slow break-in is very important. If you go too fast or try wearing it for long periods without prior experience, your urethra might get annoyed, feel raw, or even develop an infection. I've heard some people sterilize or disinfect their devices frequently before insertion. Someone even used sterile lube... The risk with using any substances is that they might irritate the urethra more than going without them, or dry out (like water-based lube) and become sticky, essentially gluing your urethral tissue to the device, which isn't ideal... Personally, after a while I stopped using any lube. If I needed lubrication (rarely, because the plug is super smooth), I just used saliva and went to the toilet afterward to flush out any residue (yes, saliva contains bacteria, but if you're healthy, it shouldn't cause much of an issue):-) Regarding device length: make sure it's quite short. The reason is that your penis should stay mostly at the front of the device to prevent sliding up and down along the plug (which could irritate the urethra) and cause issues. Plug length is another discussion point. Some users found that a shorter plug (just 35-45mm) does not prevent pullout but can be quite irritating to the urethra because, during erection changes, short plugs irritate more than long ones. Long plugs (I've had one very long in the past) seem much more comfortable, secure, and less irritating... though this is based on hearsay and personal experience. Dietmar suggests plugs around 20-25mm longer than the A-Ring.
Hi! How long can you stay in a Looker 01 or 02 with an inserted plug without needing release? My wife plans to lock me up for the long term. I believe the urethral tube offers better hygiene and safety compared to CBs without it. Could you share your experiences with long-term use? How many days can you stay in the device constantly without removing the plug? What lubricant do you use when inserting the plug? How often do you remove the CB for hygiene/health reasons? Best regards, Rab
Hello everyone! I'm considering buying the Looker 2 device. I think that urethral tube offers better hygiene and safety than CBs without it. Would you mind sharing your long-term experiences? How many days can you stay in the device constantly without removing the plug? What lubricant do you use for inserting the plug? How often do you remove the CB for hygiene/health purposes? Best regards, Rabpl
Personally, I can only speak to being locked up for two weeks without problems. However, on the German CB forums, there are people who wear it much longer. I've also heard that some find the plug intolerable. Generally, what I found is that people make the mistake of going from 0 to 100 too quickly, which isn't ideal with a plug if you aren't used to it. Hygiene in the Looker is generally quite good since it's an open device and easy to clean with soap. At first during my break-in and wearing periods, I used a small drop of antibiotic cream to lube the plug. Later, I simply used a drop of saliva to wet the plug. More wasn't necessary; the plug is super smooth. Frequent urination helped keep the urethra around the plug healthy and flushed out possible bacteria. A common misconception is that the plug seals your urethra so you only urinate through the opening at the front. This isn't true, nor would it be healthy, since the urethra needs urine flow to flush out bacteria and stay moist. If you order such a device, I suggest ordering an additional small screw to close the end of the plug. Otherwise, you might get some drops of urine in your underwear:-) The plug holds onto some liquid and releases it reluctantly (you can no longer squeeze your pubic muscles to empty it completely)...
I have the urethral insert for my Steelheart. Mine is 10mm and extends just past the cock ring. I don't wear it very often because it was something I wanted to try as a backup if my partner gets irritated. I use no lube or antibiotic cream because they burn; I just use water. I have worn it for 8 weeks without removal. Urine does stay in the tube and leak out later, even with quite a bit of shaking. I often put a few layers of tissue in my briefs to absorb it.
Forgot to mention that the steel cap was not available.....I asked for one.
My experiences have been good. Don't order the plug with a length that matches the cockring exactly. Your cock will be slightly thicker than normal with the plug inside, and when the bullet at the beginning of the plug is under the lock on the cockring, it can be irritating. Ask Dietmar about it; he's always willing to help with his knowledge. There is also a version with a removable plug. The plug goes through a hole in the head of the CB and connects via a ring-shaped screw on the part that pulls out. The only thing about this is you can see the pointed shape of the screw outside your trousers, but that doesn't have to be a big deal. I insert the bullet always with an installation gel containing some anaesthetic because there's a thinner section at the beginning of my urethra where the bullet has to pass through. The diameter of the plug itself is no problem for me, but the bullet's diameter feels slightly too large. To install: lie on your back, place the cockring, insert the installation gel into the urethra, wait a few minutes, then push the bullet and plug inside. I hope I've helped you a little. Good luck. Bert. If you want to see the Looker 01 (the same as the Looker 02 but with an open front) in practical use, send me a PM and I will send you a picture of it.
Thank you for all your comments:)
I've worn my Looker 2 for 10 days with no problems. My removable urethral plug extends just past the ring. I agree about the urination issues—but then, I have those with every device, so I always fold toilet paper over a couple of times, cup the bottom of the device with it, and slip a cut-down-to-size plastic baggie over everything. Urine isn't my only issue—after a few days being locked—and ESPECIALLY riding my motorcycle while locked—I tend to precum randomly as well. Always wearing a jockstrap while locked keeps the baggie in place over the tissues/device and prevents fluids from reaching my pants. I change out the tissues whenever I use the bathroom so as not to keep the area moist. But it seems I've gone off-topic regarding the Looker 2... you can see a few pics of mine in my profile.:)
So, looking to get the Looker02. I could really use some help from other users of the Looker02 to learn from their measuring challenges and lessons... Are these the only measurements needed? plug diameter: 7 mm plug length - not sure yet ball diameter: 9 mm penis ring - not sure yet (B-ring) cock ring - not sure yet (A-ring) total length - not sure yet I know I want a fixed urethral insert. Is the integrated lock standard on Looker02 or do I have to request it? Is total length inclusive of the part of the insert that extends beyond the A-ring, or is it just from A-ring to tip? Should the penis ring be just the diameter of the penis, or slightly more/less? When I measure the circumference for the A-ring, I get 70 mm, but I can fit into a ring measuring 51 mm; does anyone know why there's such a difference? Are there sizing rings available to order so I can find a good fit? Thanks for your help...
