Shaving Up There
Do you shave the area around your penis? How does this relate to chastity? Do you believe shaving makes it easier for the device to fit, or not?

If you had asked me 10 years ago when I saw a nurse approaching with a disposable razor on my vasectomy day, I would have yelled "What are you NUTS!" My KH/wife definitely appreciates being clean-shaven down there too, as it helps avoid hair pinching. I use the Fusion 5 blade model (yes, five large blades in one pass to cause damage) and haven't had any issues. It sounds intimidating, but just go slowly and soon you'll be a pro. Maybe practice on a peach or an orange, and don't forget to stretch things out when you decide to give it a try. Good Luck!
Mrs. Twisted doesn't care for me being shaved; I'm not sure why, though I certainly like *her* shaved. There are some hair-pulling and pinching issues that shaving would resolve but...c'est la vie. Not shaving definitely saves time and hassle, but we lose a couple of erotic (to me) elements.
I shave my penis and scrotum, as well as the area around the "bikini zone" on my thighs. My wife definitely likes it clean and smooth there. Shaving is done with a "male body" razor (3 blades), usually while bathing without the cage. K
I use an electric shaver and have no problems.
Shaving prevents a lot of pulling and hair-catching issues. Even a close trim is preferred around here.
Yes, absolutely, shave with a razor—even if it's dull—and you'll have no problems. I think I cut myself once in roughly 10 years. There are two issues with genital shaving - first, when you aren't used to it, the razor rub will cause some ache; second, if you stop shaving, stubble will make things itch for a while. If you keep doing it, neither of these becomes an issue.
Do you think a shaved penis fits A-Rings and devices differently than one that isn't shaved?
It didn't make any noticeable difference for me. I wasn't particularly hairy to begin with anyway.
My KH/Spouse hasn't shown a preference, but I find that if I cut all the hairs to half an inch or shorter, I have no trouble with pulling or pinching. Shaving leaves my skin feeling clammy down there, which I don't like. We've experimented with shaving occasionally; if she ever says she prefers it shaven, I will do it.
I don't shave anything. To my mind, it's too much time wasted. I barely trim my face either. I've tried a few times in the past but there's more maintenance involved than I care for.
I shave myself regularly; I like the feeling of clean-shaven balls. I do it about once a week by which time my stubble has grown enough to become an issue.
I've always shaved and occasionally get waxed. I'm considering laser hair removal - thankfully my body isn't very hairy.
I started shaving when I began wearing a device, just over a year ago. Both Mrs. Haversackers and I really enjoy the feel of smooth, freshly shaven balls. I usually shave twice a week, which is somewhat of a hassle (the stubbly days between shaves are worse than the actual shaving itself). I'm wondering if anyone has tried the No! No! System. It provides semi-permanent hair removal similar to laser treatments? Some online reviews are positive, but not all. It's relatively expensive hardware (almost as much as a basic custom device), so before diving in, I thought I'd get an honest appraisal here. Thanks, Harry

No shaving...just trimmed nice and short:) Prefer to avoid the aggravation of razor burn, etc.
I'm pretty much the same. Shaft and sack are shaved, everything else trimmed short. I have a Phillips Bodygroom that makes it easy peasy. I tried shaving everything for a while but ingrown hairs and aggravation just weren't worth it.
