Written Agreements?
What number of you possess written agreements with your Keyholder? I've been in the cage since April 2010, yet we lack any documentation? Do you have one?…

We all draft imaginary pacts in our heads, and a select few actually commit them to paper. They are what they are -- purely fantasy.
Initially, I attempted to formalize things into a contract, but she wasn't keen on that at all. So I wrote my thoughts down as a text piece titled "What we are doing", aiming for a more romantic approach. That worked perfectly. Since then, most arrangements and suggestions have been handled verbally or during our online chats. K
We do possess 'contracts', which essentially outline the actions she is free to take*, but I don't believe she ever fully understood them. This current session has lasted so long that I've even lost track of where our last one ended up. *(And it serves as a defensive measure in the [unlikely] case something truly terrible occurs and an outsider notices our 'game' and tries to accuse her of non-consensual abuse or similar nonsense. Such a 'contract' is generally not legally binding, naturally, but it would serve as evidence that I did consent, despite appearances suggesting otherwise, regardless of what a [well-meaning?] outsider might think.)

It serves us well as a tool for setting and meeting each other's expectations.
I appreciate the concept of a contract, but right now it wouldn't fit where our relationship stands. I would view it as liberation for me, while she would see it as an obligation. She might also perceive it as my attempt to exert control over her. Not that this doesn't occur naturally, but having it spelled out explicitly would feel too rigid. Currently, we simply negotiate our needs and desires through conversation.
We lack a formal written contract....
KH and I do have a documented agreement. It arose as a bit of fun reminder regarding what we had already agreed upon verbally. It is less about being binding and more like an enjoyable role-play element. Essentially, it's just writing down the rules to how we were already playing. Here is the complete text. I believe the first line holds the most weight. CC stands for caged cock, and we all know what KH means.;) CHASTITY RULES: • Have fun. Either KH or CC may pause or end the game if it stops being enjoyable. • If the game is paused or ended, there will be a 24-hour cooling off period before talking resumes to find solutions for any problems or issues. If a solution is reached, the game can continue without losing chastity status. • KH has absolute control over CC's orgasms. • CC must wear a male chastity device at all times. • KH locks and unlocks MCD at her discretion. • CC is not allowed access to the key for MCD. • CC cannot remove MCD without permission and supervision from KH. • CC is prohibited from touching their penis for personal pleasure unless KH permits it. • No masturbation by CC without permission. • No self-stimulation by CC even during sexual encounters with KH, unless permitted. • Contact with the penis by CC for cleaning purposes is allowed. • KH may remove MCD once a week at her discretion for cleaning. • Both CC and KH are allowed to initiate sexual contact. • During sexual activity, CC must inform KH of an impending orgasm if KH brings him close to cumming. • CC will use a countdown system to let KH know how close he is to climaxing. This agreement between KH and CC concerns their involvement in male chastity. KH may add or subtract from the rules at her discretion. CC has the right to negotiate rule changes. KH holds veto power over CC regarding these negotiations.

When she wants me out, she doesn't want to be reminded about some contract document. When she desires for me to remain locked, she doesn't want rules or randomness getting in the way. For her, it is the control that makes things hot. For me, it's her control that creates that heat. tl;dr: No.
Nope. I tried it before, but it really ended up being just fantasy and not followed through - largely because it isn't enforceable. Although I would love to be legally bound to obey my wife, that won't happen, and it's probably for the best that horny men can't sign away their basic rights:) For us, control stems from the chastity device itself rather than non-enforceable terms written on paper. Still like the concept though:)
Thanks everyone for your responses. Chuck pretty much described what we practice as a couple. For now I won't disrupt our dynamic with unnecessary paperwork. There is enough of that in society already.
