The one aspect that clashes most with my understanding of ‘chastity’ is Chatelaine’s habit of never leaving me locked up when either she or I travel overnight. I can’t tell if it stems from a safety concern (we don’t keep an emergency key on hand) or simply because she dislikes the practice and I haven’t minded raising a fuss about it, but it strikes me as peculiar. I will wait for the right time to ask her why she does this. What is something about your dynamic that you just ‘don’t get’?

As soon as the brass lock came off, she quickly attached a plastic one instead. She showed me a piece of paper with the combination written down, smiled, and said, "There, that should get you through the full body scanner at the airport.:oops: I wonder what we will do when the Jailbird arrives with its high-security screw.:o Have you ever mentioned to Chatelaine that you'd like to try being secured overnight while away? Find out her fear and then create an emergency plan if necessary.
Another barrier broken! She has just left for a Birthday long weekend with her best friend, and I am still in the Steelworxx that I have worn for the last two weeks. This is made more interesting because I have a 20-mile race tomorrow, but I've completed some training runs while shackled without issue; she feels confident I can manage.
Congratulations on the breakthrough. I found that when Mrs. Twisted first drove away with The Key, I became painfully aroused within minutes.
I am currently in the same situation, which feels quite strange since it is no different from either of us going to work or out locally for a day. It involves spending a couple of nights just a few hours away by road. It isn't so much a game changer as raising the bar.
Many small steps add up to a long journey. Sounds good to me

Even if it is only 'a couple of hours away,' it might as well be on the other side of the world. She did this deliberately, you know it, she knows you know it, and *you* realize that she realizes it. It isn't so strange when you look at the psychological effect. On that note... Mrs. Twisted is also away this weekend for more than just a couple of hours. She called me recently, apparently with the sole purpose of sharing a chance encounter where someone was trying to 'pick her up' despite her rather obvious wedding/engagement ring. Her parting words were: "You'd better be careful..." Perhaps that belongs on the "Does chastity lead to cuckolding" thread. I think the bar has just been raised here as well.

To be honest, I didn't think she would follow through; I expected a text message this morning telling me to unlock (after revealing the key) before leaving for the race. It never arrived. I met up with two workmates and ran 30km wearing my chastity device. Afterward, I showered and changed for a swim in public baths. As benchmark days go, today ranks high on the list. Chatelaine's steadfastness has utterly impressed me.
