Keyholder Thread

To every Key Holder, Here is a tiny tip for your safety. The padlocks that come with most chastity devices are rather standard, and duplicate keys of similar size can open them easily. My clever wife knows I am technically competent enough to handle it, so she will definitely give my lock a try. I’m wearing the jailhouse cage model. The day my device arrived, she secretly bought a 3-digit combination number lock without me noticing. She told me to strap on the device, and surprisingly, instead of using the padlock, she secured the cage with this new combo lock! Now she doesn’t need to guard the keys or fret about me getting out. I feel sorry for many chaste men who might be letting their Key Holders cheat by using duplicate key locks. So I wanted to warn all other Key Holders.

Linus, I moved this useful piece of advice ("for your *safety*? Really?) because the Keyholder's Thread is meant for... well, Keyholders. If you had read that first message, you would have seen they asked us (mostly men) to keep it that way.

A mechanical 3-digit combination number lock (featuring 10 digits per dial) has exactly 1000 possible combinations by definition. Even though we must acknowledge that these locks are VERY insecure because you can often pop them open under strain while turning the dials, you could theoretically try all 1000 combos in just a few minutes... I agree that small padlocks are quite weak. Integrated locks, like those found on Steelworxx devices, offer "a bit" more protection. The only true security for any device is using a pre-numbered plastic security seal which you must break to open the device this way allows you to tamper with the lock freely; if you remove the device entirely, the broken seal reveals it and your KH will know. You can't just swap in another one because each number on these seals is unique.
