Getting Ready for CB6000S

The CD is still sealed in my nightstand. Even though I’m eager to get started, we want to do it properly. Here are a few ideas and worries:

1. Ring size - I’ve experimented with neoprene cock rings; 1 1/2 inches feels too snug while 1 3/4 inches lets the testicles slip out. I plan on starting with the 1 5/8 ring, but if it’s still tight enough, switching to the 1 3/4 one and hoping a smaller gap holds everything in.
2. The seam - There was some advice (maybe here?) about splitting the CB6000 intentionally and gluing it back together with superglue for extra strength. I’m not totally sure yet; I know it will scar the seam slightly. Can’t wait until later to do that if needed, after a good cleaning? Plus, there’s usually a one-year warranty on these things anyway.
3. The padlock - Noise is an issue right now—the kids can hear me rattling around at home. Later today I’ll head out to find a rubber-coated lock (if they make them). Otherwise, heat-shrink tubing might work too. That’s pretty much it! Most of the good advice has been covered already but let me know if you see anything missing.

I think I've incorporated the major advice I've come across, but if anyone has any suggestions/thoughts I've overlooked, I'd appreciate the input. 1. Start with the 1 5/8 ring. The test will be it you get thru the night without much pain. Your body will adjust over time to a smaller ring. 2. If you purchased the real thing and not a Chineese copy you should be fine. Don't break it just to re-glue it. 3. Had the same trouble. When I got up in the middle of the night my wife/KH was able to track me thru the house:lol: I found the heat shrink tubing worked great. Didn't come off even in the shower. I agree with the recomemdation to use something around the base ring. I applied baby oil gel with a q-tip. Sounds like you are off to a good start. Good Luck;)

If your lock is making that much noise it sounds like the post isn't tight enough. There should be a really thin spacer that you might need in some situations. If you don't need the gap put it on after the tube but before the lock. You want the whole assembly to be real solid when it is locked. This will help with durability (less flexing), comfort (less pinching), and security (the gap will stay tight).

Atone, My experience with the lock making noise is from my attempts with the CB-3000 several years ago. My wife locked me in the CB-6000s last night and the difference between the two devices is night and day. No noise or movement from the lock, no discomfort. I slept in it easily last night - something I could never do in the 3000. I've been wanting to write a rather long post with a blow-by-blow account of what happened last night but I've just been too damn busy. Hopefully tomorrow. For now, let me just say it was incredible. Still is.

Im new to the game lol. But my idea about the loud clanking Noise from the lock is small cable ties. Put it on and my KH can snip it off When she needs to release me. Fyi. No noise especially at work.
