Hi there. I haven’t gone full-time with chastity yet, but it’s been on my radar for some time now. The thing that worries me is how active I am. My work isn’t sedentary; I’m always upright and in motion. Since I deal with boats, I frequently climb ropes or sit astride a railing while trying to stay balanced. It feels like a rigid device might cause pain, get damaged, or just rattle around too much.

Does anyone have suggestions?

I can't speak to the rigging part, but sitting on a rail might be tricky. I also do physically demanding work, and my CB3k has held up reasonably well. Two of the rings snapped at their hinges, though it's unclear if that was job-related or not. Another issue occurred once when I hoisted something heavy; one of my nuts pushed through the bottom ring. A slight adjustment to the gap fixed it afterward. Still, watch out for rail-straddling.

Appreciate it. Perhaps I should try a different approach.

kinja, I'm running the jailbird steel cage. It's sturdy and has good airflow. I move around quite a bit during the day too. The first few days were an adjustment, but now it fits perfectly. No issues with riding my bike or lifting heavy loads. One downside is security gates; they tend to trigger the alarms.

What do you think about a softer cage like the birdlocked? My ideal setup would be not wearing one at work since I lack the time or privacy to play anyway. However, I return home an hour before my partner arrives, giving me plenty of space and time for myself. The catch is that she can't lock me directly, nor does she fully trust me to do it on my own. Plus, as far as I know, there's no way for her to verify if someone is locked without being present.

I've snapped the pins on my CB6000 while climbing antenna towers, so you might face a similar issue with rigging or even in a bosun seat suspended from the crane when attaching weather stations and antennas. If you only wear it outside of work hours, she can keep the key but leave the lock open. When you get home, just secure yourself, write down the date and time on paper, snap a photo showing your face with the visible date, and text it to her. She'll confirm you're locked. For instance, if my KH leaves me out overnight and wants me locked before I head to work (since she goes earlier), this is our routine.

That sounds like a solid plan.
