What hobbies do you all enjoy apart from satisfying your KH? Right now, I’m working on a hidden Christmas gift project, playing video games, and studying for my CCNA certification. But I’d like to pick up something creative that doesn’t require too much effort to start. I considered making ships in bottles, but then remembered I’m 6’4” with large hands… so maybe not.
Any suggestions?

Perhaps we could find a hobby to share. Just throwing it out there;)

Oh, CCNA! That reminds me that I earned it years ago. Completely forgot about that:) But I think I never really needed to use it in my life hehe. I love programming. One day I dream of coding my own game:) But I also enjoy writing on forums. Mostly sexual topics, but I still count forum posting as a hobby since I’m part of so many communities. And naturally, there’s plenty going on with my girlfriend; we’re huge fans of board games and fantasy tabletop games with friends. I’m never bored. Even if I had 24 free hours every day, it wouldn’t be enough for all my interests:)

LoL Tom. That made me chuckle. heh. I usually only need about five minutes of that six-hour period.:P R
Guns, motorcycles, flyfishing, and sex....listed in no particular order.
No time for hobbies at the moment. If it wasn't bad enough that this terrible economy has us scrambling to pay bills, I now have a stack of trees (6' high x 15' wide) that are 25 feet long and need to be cut into stove-length pieces and split before snow arrives...I’m losing daylight right now just reading this board...

I’m so glad we could help distract you.
I have plenty of hobbies. Archery, fishing, biking, boating, and a few others.

Yes, we both have very little free time for anything else, whether masturbating or not. My coping mechanisms improve slightly during chastity because too often I use masturbation as a stress release rather than finding something better to do.

I like this thread, lol. Anyway, I enjoy painting and watching movies. I also play trading card games, so you can often find me building different decks. Of course, all of that happens when I’m not doing homework.

Anomaly, instruments demand a lot of time and dedication. If you know your schedule is tight, it might not work out unless you stick with it long-term. Since you mentioned having kids, I get the impression other hobbies would suit you better. Probably obvious anyway, but there you go.

And since you say you have kids my impression is that other hobbies would work out better for you. I'm sure that was obvious anyway, but you know. I can play piano, even some more complex pieces; I just don’t know the chords on guitar or where to begin.

I will say my coping habits get a little better with chasity as too often I use wanking as stress release instead of something better. I took up weight lifting. I found that getting up early in the morning was a good way to work off some excess energy. Plus, Mrs. Edge likes the muscles. 8-) I started lifting weights. Waking up early helps burn off extra energy. Also, Mrs. Edge appreciates the muscle gain. 8-)

I ask because I’m interested but don’t know where to start and want to avoid injury.
I make chainmaille that I sell or gift to friends. I also set up stalls at renaissance festivals to sell it. You can see some examples here

Did you make everything on that site? That’s a lot of pieces. Chainmaille never seemed "sexy" to me before, but seeing the dragon top might have changed my mind. Thanks for sharing.

Mrs. Edge and I joined a local gym with personal training included, not one of those big chain gyms. A PT works with us individually in every session. We signed up for three months but ended up staying four or five. It was worth it to learn solid routines, master the basics, have someone teach proper form, avoid injury, etc. Afterward, I bought some gear and set it up in my basement.
