This piece came out in a British paper back in 2009. What really gets me is that catchy slogan; it’s quite funny to me. As for the rest of the article, honestly, it’s rubbish. We have one of the highest, if not the very highest, rates of unwanted teen pregnancies in Western Europe here. The NHS… I just can’t believe my taxes and national insurance contributions are funding these idiots… … troke.html

Ugh. It feels like someone is pulling a big prank on us all, but I can't quite put my finger on who’s doing it or why.

To give some context, the US teen pregnancy rate is about twice that of the UK's and has dropped by roughly 30% over the last few decades (probably because more young women are using the pill). Back during the Bush years, and before that under Reagan, kids were told to fight this issue simply by abstaining from sex. It seems no one considered the old saying 'be good, but if you can't be good, be careful' back then. Programs pushing for teenage abstinence actually ended up with significantly higher pregnancy rates compared to those with a wider educational approach. So feel better knowing your idiots are about twice as effective at getting results as our lot.

Wow... that is incredible! Seriously, sexual pleasure is a 'right'... for teenagers? The reasoning behind this is barely more than idiocy. This material might actually help teens wait until they truly understand what it means to be in a caring, loving relationship. Talk about being out of touch... maybe this gentleman needs to watch shows like Skins. Has he never heard of Lady Gaga? What the hell? As Pink Floyd would say... Leave the kids alone....

That article made me want to smash something. I swear... Government bodies are trying to ruin our children.

The industry I work in frequently comes under fire from The Daily Mail. I happen to know they are notorious for taking facts out of context, exaggerating minor details and letting a good story overshadow the truth. I won't stoop to their level by claiming this is exactly what happened here, but please take what is written with a grain of salt.

I couldn't agree more about the Daily Mail, or 'Daily Rant' as I prefer to call it.... but even The Times and Telegraph criticize it heavily. I’d love to grab a full copy, but the NHS in Sheffield wants £15.00 for just one... I’ve scoured the internet looking for one but haven't found it yet... Anyway, adding fuel to the fire...here’s another look at said leaflet... ... field.html Enjoy!
