Hi everyone. This discussion focuses on my new custom gadget - the ** P.A.C.T (Prince Albert Chastity Tube).** I’ll be sharing updates and photos here, plus answering your questions, so feel free to ask anything. I will upload some more “spicy” images of the device in action over in the members lounge within this thread: check out the archived discussion Warning! Penis content. Please have a look at those pics, but do leave your comments here though. So… The PACT being what it is (a P.A. Chastity Tube), the most obvious comparison is with the pa-5000, so let me start by pointing out the key differences. First of all: You use your own ring with the device, which means no plastic bits in your piercing. In fact, you don’t even need to take off the ring when putting it on. Second: The size is TOTALLY customizable. My specific model measures 90mm from base to piercing, with a 31mm interior diameter. The smaller version shown in the product shot is 50mm long and has a 20 mm interior. Both use the same lock system. Third: It’s crafted from nylon. Completely inert to the body, super light, and slightly soft and flexible. Highly chemically resistant, so you can wash it however you like (I suggest just dropping it in boiling water for a while). Each custom model is 3d-printed at high resolution (5 layers/mm) then hand-cleaned. For those of you who know about 3d-printers, the process leaves behind a specific texture (tiny ridges from individual layers), which some have noted as being too rough for the inside of a chastity device. However, using nylon changes that dynamic because the material feels much softer to touch than earlier 3d-printer materials. To me, the PACT is totally and dangerously comfortable. Will some people notice the texture or find it uncomfortable? Possibly. My slightly tucked foreskin shields my glans somewhat from contact with the device, which helps. Conversely, I actually added spikes to mine, which kind of sums up the experience… The nylon tube is strong and, may I add, TOTALLY impossible to split down the middle; I guarantee it. You might be able to snap it in half effectively creating two shorter tubes, but you’d have to really work at it with pliers (believe me, I’ve tested this) My own PACT also features a few other custom touches, specifically the interior spikes that help discourage erections and keep my generous foreskin “secured”. To aid further, I added some holes for q-tip access too. All optional… My piercing is relatively new (photos show 12g - now at 10G), so I’m being very careful not to strain it. Even with that care, I’ve worn the P.A.C.T. for up to 36 hours without other issues besides plenty of frustration. To change piercing size, I only need to swap out the small lock piece. The current tube fits anything up to 2 gauge with a ball diameter of 10mm or less, cbr or circular barbell, and it could practically be made for… well - just about anything… I’ve been developing the PACT for quite some time now, and I’m at the stage where I can create this bad boy in any conceivable size and shape. I’m also working on various add-ons. The moment has arrived for feedback. I tried to cover the main points here, but I’m sure many of you have questions, so bring them on! My own questions for you all (and girls) include: What do you think about the pricing? Would you prefer colored options, or is clear white nylon cool enough? What’s your wish list for customizations /add-ons? Is eBay my best bet for selling these, direct through paypal, or perhaps a third option… And I’ll leave it there for now. Can’t wait to hear what you think. Thanks, Jeff
Here's a photo of an earlier version of the P.A.C.T. On the left you can see its ultra-short counterpart, which my girlfriend affectionately nicknamed the "COM-P.A.C.T." These are from quite some time ago when I was still hooking the ring directly through the padlock. I quickly realized this wouldn't work for larger rings unless you wanted a bigger padlock, which I didn't, so that concept was gently set aside. I might revisit it if anyone's interested in something similar. By the way, the padlock isn't the strongest thing ever, but it's definitely not a toy. It's basically the smallest size and lowest weight I could find for a serious padlock. Nylon can be sliced with a stanley-knife, but I really don't advise getting that close to your parts with a sharp blade. Also, any damage would be obvious to your keyholder, so there's truly no way out . . . Another notable point when looking at it now is the improvement in print quality on newer models compared to this one. The differently colored layers you see here don't really impact comfort or strength (as tested by me); they're caused by tiny internal impurities from the printing process, which I've mostly eliminated via a technical upgrade. Occasional streaks still appear, but if that's not a major aesthetic disaster for you, then it doesn't matter. Oh yes, did I mention I might produce these in different colors? See ya, Jeff
My thoughts: - This device looks pretty much ready for prime time. - eBay is just going to take more of your profit than is reasonable. Set up a nice website with appropriate order forms that generates a paypal button - this will keep the site relatively simple and easy for you to design (I'm assuming you're technical since you work with 3D printers; I know from experience with a Reprap Mendel they aren't exactly straightforward). - Pricing: This doesn't have huge advantages over the PA-5000 as far as I can tell, aside from being custom. If you can afford the time/materials cost (let's be honest here - roughly 2 hours per unit based on plastic volume and occasional mess-ups, plus less than $5 in material), keep it to $80 or $90. This should give a decent margin without pricing you out of the market. I'd be interested in trying this device in a month or two if the price is right, once my piercing has had some more healing time. Good luck!
Hi everyone. I've been away for a couple of weeks because things have been hectic with my WEDDING coming up next week:-) Since my future wife is also my mistress and keyholder, my priorities this month were clear: 1. Keep her happy. 2. Get everything ready for the wedding. 3. Keep her happy;-) However, as soon as I told her feedback was starting to trickle in, she told me to get on it, so here I am. @NewlyPierced: Thanks for the great feedback! I agree with your analysis on most points. "Ready for prime time" - Absolutely! The basic P.A.C.T. is ready; I just need to sort myself and my business plan out... "eBay vs Website" - Good point. I'm no web designer, but I am looking into different options for building my own website now, and it doesn't seem too complicated. "Pricing" One advantage of the PACT, as I see it, is that you can use whatever awesome ring you prefer to fasten it. Your estimates of time and materials are likely pretty close, except print-time can vary wildly depending on model size. Also nylon extrudes much slower than other plastics, which adds another factor. The pricing really needs to reflect the custom nature of the PACT... I can't simply "scale" the models because they all must fit the same lock system diameter, so there is work involved with each different tube diameter. I will keep zero physical stock (meaning finished devices) since there are too many possible combinations and no way of knowing what people will request. However, hiccups in production are inevitable as I adjust designs for new sizes, so I have to test-print all models before putting them on sale. I don't want excessive troubleshooting after orders come in because it slows the process and likely leads to frustrated customers... So one option is that I might stock six or seven main tube models in different diameters with customizable lengths, plus 10 different lock pieces for various rings. These would be ready to print at a competitive price (roughly in your ballpark), then charge more for customization beyond that, or devices with "special features", some of which need separate sizing and fitting. I am currently working on several of these features: - Coloring. This is the first thing I'll show you once I'm happily married and things return to normal here. - Engraving. This looks very cool and works like a charm. I'm thinking of integrating it into all models with a discreet PACT logo. Custom text will be optional, perhaps on a "pay per character" basis... - An integrated all-nylon lock system for extreme light weight and comfort. It's tricky but I think I can make it work. - A permanent (integrated) cap and a removable (snap-on) cap - to cover the head, - A "trapped ball device" adaptation of the design, with a removable but lockable ball ring, - Alternative tube shapes: Oval, flared, ribbed Thanks again for the feedback. Keep it coming. I'll return with more details as I progress. Cheers, Jeff
I didn't know that nylon takes longer to extrude...my 3D printer has been idle a while...really should get back to using it.
Hope everything is going well and congratulations on the wedding. Love the design; just had to give this a bump and hope you're out there somewhere still working on this devious creation.
Hey! Your device truly looks great! I have one question for all wearers of such or similar devices. Regarding myself, I can't imagine the device being secure if you are able to touch the glans.:?: I notice that the device constricts an erection but leaves the glans fully expanded. Can't you stimulate yourself to an **orgasm** by just touching and massaging the tip of your penis?:? Just curious because that was one reason I couldn't go with eg. the Looker since I could simply reach (or put something) between the bars and stimulate myself. I have to admit though, that these devices haven't been THAT restrictive (compared to the images you provided). So, what is the general consensus on this topic?:-):D
I think compared with the PA5000, it's true the advantage is wearing your own jewelry, but for me, it's that I cannot wear a PA5000 because my dick is too thick when flaccid. So a customized item would be much better. I also think it would be interesting to see your device in use with a dick inside to observe how you put it on. So great idea ...
slaveminded if you look up to the original post, there is a link to some pics of the device being worn. I only mention it because I didn't notice it at first either.
So is this device available? What are the interior dimensions we can choose from? Can I use plastic **lock**s with it? Does it actually prevent masturbation?
You should offer different colors if possible.
Oh yes now I see thank you. it must be efficient!
Looks like a perfect present for my friend whose piercing is always getting irritated by the seams in the CB version.
As per Bobby's question... is it going to be available?
So from all this 'non-activity' here, we must assume the device is not available. Shame.
