I want to thank everyone for the great advice and comments that helped me get going with this lifestyle. Because of you, I feel like I’ve had a solid start; without your help, I probably would have given up sooner rather than later. It means a lot. Even though I’m still quite new at this and figuring out how to make it work for both my wife and myself (especially), I’ve decided that I need to step away from the forum for a while right now. Seeing those “Why on earth would anyone…” questions popping up in many threads isn’t really helping me these days. So, I’m going to keep moving forward with my journey alongside my wife, so I don’t feel like my posts or comments are constantly being weighed and judged. I genuinely wish you all the best as your journeys unfold wherever they may lead, and that you take away everything from it—and then some! Enjoy yourselves and be well.
Randy, I'm sorry to hear that you feel the need to take a break from here. While I don't know the specific details of what you've gone through, I can certainly understand how you're feeling. There have been moments when it seems like nearly everyone jumps on someone for one thing or another. Sometimes something just hits our raw nerves. Often, there's extra sting because communication over such an impersonal medium isn't always perfect. Add in cultural and language differences to the mix, and this kind of friction is inevitable. I'm sorry things have escalated to where they are now, but I hope you find your way back here down the road. -A
Just in case you decide to peek back in... I've taken breaks myself. There is plenty of good advice here, but I have seen exactly what you mean regarding how some people respond. This kink isn't practiced by a huge crowd and is often viewed as odd even by those who enjoy many other kinds of kinks. So one might think we would be more sensitive about judging anyone's approach to it. However, that doesn't always seem to be the case. I've received some pushback over the fact that while we do practice chastity, we also like swinging. Some folks just can't grasp how both things can be enjoyed at different times. I have a metal cage locked onto my cock right now; who am I to question why someone else does what they do? Peace, Michael
I'm sorry as well to see you stepping away, since I've really enjoyed reading your posts. Wishing you and your wife all the best. Perhaps we'll hear from you again in time.
I hang out on a few car-related forum boards too, so I see this happen all the time. You can't let what other people say affect your enjoyment too much. Just stay around, learn more, and enjoy it in whatever way works for you.

So I've decided to continue on the journey on my own with my wife to avoid feeling as though my threads and or comments will be judged. Sometimes it really is best to step away, especially if things are getting under your skin like this. If I needed universal acceptance for how I live my life, the internet wouldn't be a very good place for me. Over the years, I've learned to tune out much of what gets said online. Many people write poorly and seem unable to communicate thoughtfully or intelligently. Others aren't experienced with it at all and are just fantasizing based on their own conceptions of right and wrong, what **should** or **shouldn't be**. And many folks simply have no idea what the world looks like beyond their own perspective. Best wishes on your journey, Randy. I hope you come back sometime; it's good to hear from people who are truly living this lifestyle and sharing about their experiences sincerely and thoughtfully regarding chastity - here on these forums and others.
