Hi everyone, I’ve been testing out a replica CB6000 and dealing with fit issues. The main problem is that it doesn’t stay close to my body at all. My erection builds up behind the cage, causing it to slide down my shaft. As a result, my penis extends to its full length of about 5 inches and sticks out horizontally even under clothes. I’ve tried reducing both the ring size and spacer size with little success. With the smaller ring, I face the same issue. Going any further down isn’t an option because it won’t go on at all. The smaller spacer made my scrotum turn quite dark after a few minutes, so I took that off. I also have issues with ventilation. Being uncut means I have plenty of skin. Initially, I taped over the vents which worked well, though removing tape for cleaning and cutting new pieces was tedious. Then I tried filling the holes with epoxy resin and sanding them flush with the tube. However, wearing it again recently caused some itching and swelling, so I’ll need to get a replacement device anyway. I prefer buying another imitation first to test the fit. The Curve looks good, though the Holy Trainer is also interesting; however, I can’t see any reviews for the Holy Trainer yet. I don’t want to pay full price for something that might not fit correctly. Has anyone had similar issues and could offer some advice? Security isn’t my primary concern. Thanks!
I find that with the smallest spacer it stays very close to the body IF you use the smallest ring that fits. If you think you have problems, try getting a good fit with two different sized balls. I have to compromise and accept the occasional slip off.
The curve will have even more pronounced trouble with the slits. Sounds like you are ready for an upgrade to a metal made to measure device!
Yesterday I tried three different combinations to monitor my balls throughout the day. At first, using no spacer worked well. Then it felt too tight and was pinching me so I switched to the second largest ring with the small spacer but my balls started to hurt so I went back to the largest ring with the smallest spacer for sleeping. Even then, I woke up with burning balls for some reason. No erection, just a heating sensation under the ring around my scrotum. Moving the ring further down eased the pain. I have two main issues: the varying ball sizes as mentioned above, and even the largest ring pushes my penis between my testicles so it points downward and is hidden. I basically put on my CB with no penis in the tube. After a while, if stimulation causes growth, it will enter the tube naturally since that's where the opening is located. I also dislike how it doesn't sit flush against my body because the weight of the tube/lock on top becomes sore over time. This means I often have to sit with my balls resting on something rather than hanging freely. We are still experimenting, but so far see no benefit for the CB other than discouraging masturbation. My wife prefers simultaneous release, so prolonged chastity goes against her preference. We will likely return to our routine of mid-week sex and a weekend free-for-all depending on desire.
Thanks for the helpful replies:) > member_bd2a2e9100 wrote: The curve will have even more pronounced trouble with the slits. Sounds like you are ready for an upgrade to a metal made to measure device! I’ve considered this path, though I’m slightly deterred by the cost. I’d pay it if I knew it would definitely fit. Given that the CB6000 should be quite customizable and I'm struggling to find the right combination, I wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if my anatomy is unusual for trapped ball devices. I think the latter is unlikely; it's more probable I’m just missing the mark. With the Curve, I believe the longer slits would work okay, leaving only the small vents as an issue similar to the CB6000 vents. > member_cb3fc54dc5 wrote: I find that with the smallest spacer it stays very close to the body IF you use the smallest ring that fits. The smallest ring I could manage was already difficult to put on, and even then, it didn’t stay close to my body; it still moved away, causing the same problem. I tried this with minimal lube hoping it would hold, but it didn't work. > member_cb3fc54dc5 wrote: Yesterday I tried three different combinations to fit the condition of my balls throughout the day. We are still in the experimenting and testing stage but so far we see no benefit for the CB other than discouraging masturbation. My wife likes to cum together so any prolonged chastity actually goes against her preference so we will probably go back to our old routine of sex in the middle the week and then a free for all on the weekend depending on our desire. I've tried going down in spacer size, but my balls had started to turn blue so I stopped and went up a spacer size and they quickly returned to normal. When I was trying to use the smallest ring I could, when I went to bed I noticed my balls felt very warm, which I've never experienced before. Taking the device off made the problem disappear immediately. My partner also enjoys sex so we want to use chastity to prolong foreplay for myself for a few days. It also helps that it meets a few of my other kinks.
I've had the "balls on fire" problem before, though it was months ago. I am careful to use baby oil in the area where my scrotum touches the metal after every shower because I believe it helps allow the skin to slide around the metal better. For example, when my penis gets hard early morning as I wake up, my scrotum can be pulled a bit without being stuck to the metal. I've heard of guys using other oils also; one mentioned Almond oil, but baby oil works for me. Regarding having erections during the day with the device on, I think you will experience fewer in the coming weeks and months as you get used to it. Right now, since the device is new, you are prone to getting boners. I think you are doing the right things to find the best fit, and success seems likely eventually. My device has no spacers, and I wear it comfortably. You can buy metal rings at hardware stores in various sizes near the rope or chain sections. Once you know what ring size is comfortable without a chastity device, you are better positioned to choose one that works WITH the device.
I am currently wearing a CB6ks and have the same "burning balls" issue. I’ve worn a CB for two months but haven’t been able to keep it on overnight for more than a few hours. For me, the problem with the CB6ks is the space between the bottom of the cock ring and the lower edge of the cage. With the largest spacer on the 1&3/4" ring, the gap from the top of the ring to the cage is 5/8". However, just slight pressure on the front of the cage reduces this gap to less than 3/8". When I get an erection at night (the cage is too big), it pushes the base ring forward and forces the cage down onto my ball sack causing extreme pain. This happens because the cage rotates down on the base ring, and its bottom inside edge is relatively flat. Part of the issue for me is that the cage is too large, allowing too much expansion internally, while my scrotum remains "high and tight," so the cage pushes down as I get hard. That said, many would recommend the CB-X line as a good starting point due to the variety of base rings and spacers available before ordering custom. I am anxiously awaiting my Jailbird from MM. The fact that its cage is smaller in both length and diameter than the CB6Ks (preventing partial erections) and has a 1/4" round ring which does not rotate relative to the base ring, should hopefully solve these issues allowing me to wear it 24/7.
