To cut to the chase, I’m back in the game, and so is my wife. She’s ready to lock me up again with a metal device this time (and no complaints from me). While I’d love to pick up a Mature Metals piece, it currently sits outside our budget. A price point around $100 or under would be perfect. Quality still matters though. My wife isn’t keen on the CB6000—I can see why—since it looks more like a toy and feels a bit childish. It also doesn’t suit my hygiene needs well; I need an open-style cage. The MM Jailbird is ideal, but again, currently too expensive for us. What do you all recommend as a good value device? There are countless options out there, though many are low quality. You definitely get what you pay for.

Think of it like a Honda Accord: it runs wonderfully for years and costs far less than those high-end sports cars. I want functionality, something durable enough to wear long-term if she decides to go more extreme later on. I don’t want the hassle of removing it every few days just to clean it up, which is what happens with CBX series devices. Finding well-reviewed models online can be tricky though. All advice will be considered carefully. Please explain your suggestions in detail rather than simply saying you like a device because it looks cool; that helps too, but I really want the details. I appreciate all input. My goal is to choose the right device this time so chastity sticks for good. If we pick wrong again, I suspect our journey might end there. But if we find a solid piece and my wife gets truly invested in keeping me locked, perhaps an upgrade down the road will follow.

I—my KH wife especially—never approved those non-metallic cages. Here are two cages I have been using for the past 18 months: ... 1485047%26 ... 2587c2de77 They are reasonably priced, the workmanship is quite good, and I've never had any issues with either. Even though they were manufactured in China, my cages have not rusted yet. You should definitely consider them.

Do you wear them daily, including while showering? I'm looking for something I can keep on 24/7/365 except when she specifically wants me unlocked. I want to avoid chrome-plated options that might turn my skin green after a few days of use. As always, I know quality correlates with price, and there are many replicas available that look identical or very similar to the birdcage, Jailbird, or other higher-end devices. If you confirm both these models are pretty darn good quality, I will definitely consider them. They don't usually list dimensions clearly though. I'd like to see cage length/diameter and ring size details. While I'm not entirely sure what my exact needs are, a tighter fit seems better. The CB6000 cage was slightly too short for me, but the diameter was likely close—perhaps just a bit tight. The second largest ring on the CB6000 fits snugly and is about right; anything much tighter would be uncomfortable. Does anyone else have other suggestions? Honestly, I'm open to going cheap again to get started, hoping my wife will eventually move up to a Mature Metals piece once she's confident this is what we want.

I suggest ordering just the cage ($70) for the Curve model from . It will work perfectly with your existing CB6000 rings and is 1/2" longer and 1/8" wider than the standard CB6000. This should help you narrow down to the correct sizing for the Jailbird by Mature Metals, which seems like your best option for continuous wear.

I need something that is actual metal (NOT PLASTIC) to hold me over until we can afford the MM. The thing is, we have about a hundred dollars available right now, but not four hundred. My wife won't allow plastic on me, and I don't blame her for it. I'm just looking for a decent metal device that won't rust. Also, note that I won't be locked 24/7/365 constantly. She enjoys playing games with the arrangement, so I'll get out of the cage at times. While I am unlocked, I imagine I can manage thorough cleaning when needed. Hygiene is definitely important to her; it's one of the main reasons we are avoiding plastic.
