Social Gatherings in the United Kingdom

Quick query: are there any social events happening in the UK? We live in the Midlands but can travel if needed.

What kind of things do you have in mind?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I've never been to any social events before. I imagine something like a pub or restaurant where we can meet other couples who are at different stages of experience and chat while swapping stories. Basically the forum in real life lol. A place that isn't too intimidating for keyholders. Are there any gatherings like that out there?

I joined FetLife to locate my local kink community. I got lucky and found a wonderful group of people with diverse interests who get together socially at the pub once a month. It might be worth checking out nearby meetups to see if there's anything that catches your eye.
