For the last five days or so I’ve been Locked Up in my CB6000, getting a few hours of release here and there just to ease soreness. My issue is that I keep developing a ring of tenderness around the scrotum. I experimented with different Rings and spacers since I have large testicles and one has a habit of staying tucked inside (always hiding). I tried Waterbased Lube (sticky mess) then switched to baby oil (much smoother). My key holder prefers that I wear it continuously during the day but remove it while sleeping because it pokes her (“annoying poke in the ass cheek” as she put it) Is this just typical growing pains of chastity, or is there something I can do to lessen the soreness?

Try Wet lube and ensure the ring fits well. I tried baby oil but it became too sticky on my cb 6.

I don't believe the CB line was designed for long-term constant use. Most people aiming for permanent chastity seem to opt for more expensive custom metal devices. I find that sometimes, like now, what felt loose yesterday can become so tight it's a real struggle to put on. My scrotum feels irritated despite using plenty of an expensive silicon lube. Some days are very comfortable and others less so. I don't enjoy being in pain all day long. If I did, there would be other ways than wearing a chastity device.:) After experimenting for a few months with me locked up for increasingly longer periods, we decided that I will only wear my CB6000 when I am home and my wife is not around, which happens to be just two nights a week. I put it on about 10pm when she goes to sleep and take it off right before her bedtime at 1-2am. Otherwise, I only wear it when she goes out with friends, like tonight. I had to keep it off for a few days last week to let my skin heal. There was one spot that was sore even without any visible redness. If I wear it all day, the soreness returns somewhere else. The strange thing is that it felt more comfortable when I first got it, but now it makes me sore every time I wear it for a few hours. Go figure. Luckily I am not someone who derives pleasure from being locked up for long periods. Perhaps if they offered good incentives, I would try harder.:) Until then, the goal is to prevent masturbation or at least create inconvenience when my wife isn't around to see what I'm doing.

Keep trying different combinations, shave well, and find a lubricant that works for you. It took me ages to find a good cb6ks combination for comfort; I've gone 6 days straight with discomfort only from morning erections. Of course the CB may just be the wrong size and I have a JB on order specifically because of this.

The ring might simply be too tight for you right now. When I started with the CB3k, I chose to use the smallest ring from which I *knew* I could not 'pull out', and it was the smallest one provided. It wasn't a problem during the day when I could exercise some control over erections, but at night I wouldn't wake up until they had gone too far—this caused severe bruising, and after 3 days and nights, the pain became intolerable. I ended up going to a larger ring size (and a smaller spacer). Over time I was able to gradually reduce the ring size as my body got used to it. Sometimes I go months without removing it for periods exceeding a year.

I never experimented with silicon based lubes (many on this forum say they're the Cadillac of lubricants), but baby oil worked for me. The only issue with baby oil was how fast it wore off. I found that baby oil gel lasts a bit longer, and i managed to go 24x7 in my CB6000 using that ... matchtype= > member_b74b9416da wrote:My key holder would prefer I wear it 100% of the daytime but not when sleeping as it pokes her ("*annoying poke in the ass cheek*" her words) MyBride also dislikes getting poked by the cage. i had to become much more aware in bed about poking her, and found that tucking the cage between my legs helps prevent this issue. We typically spoon until she falls asleep, and then we get too hot and separate anyway, so it is only during that initial spooning period that i need to keep it tucked.

She says it helps to remind her of my predicament through the night. Regarding the soreness, i went through a phase of being very tender but it did stretch and is becoming easier. I gave up on lube because i found it quite uncomfortable and instead am using a sensitive skin moisturiser. something like E45 cream. I find it works well for me, and having 4 days in followed by a break to let your skin heal helps too. It does take time but it is worth the effort.

I've had good luck with silicone lube on the ring. I also settled on the biggest ring and smallest spacer. I found that most of the pain came from my nuts being able to partially pull through, rather than being blocked entirely. It may take some time to get accustomed though. It took me probably 2 months to work up to wearing it for 24 hours.

Lots of interesting Tips here. Maybe regular application of Baby oil via some sort of applicator will help. Right now I have a day's break allowed and my wife is at home so there isn't much chance to enjoy full freedom. I'm using the largest ring for the Cb6000s because it's more comfortable, and i am using the 4th largest spacer as it helps stop my right Nut from trying to escape the ring and hide internally. Maybe i'll try downsizing the ring again and see if it helps over the next day or so since I'm back in my CB tomorrow morning.

I started life in a CB6k and never managed more than about 72 hours before it became uncomfortable in exactly the way you describe. I agree with others that it is more of a sex-toy than a chastity device too. Silicone lube is highly recommended btw, it isn't cheap but it lasts much longer than baby oil. My advice? Get a metal device. I did. I went from part 'honour'/part locked to being locked 24/7 the instant the metal was put on. I use silicone lube of course, but now I can bathe and get clean without having to remove the CB. I am let out for a short spell on weekends when my KH decides she wants some satisfaction (I live in hope) and I get a chance to shave etc. Do use a new sharp razor. Anything blunt can leave razor rash in an area you *really* do not need it. If you go for metal, don't rush into it and be prepared to make mistakes when trying to get the right size and fit. Once you're there you can reflect upon the possibility of never touching yourself again having become reality...

Cheers LongTimeComing. My key holder bought a chrome one for me before the CB6Ks and lessons were learned (rings too small) So we will get a 50mm hinged ring replacement and the cage was a bit long for me.. it has growing room but my Key holder likes it more compact like the (CB6Ks) so i squirm more from her touch and erections are just slightly more painful. So a new chrome cage will also be on order soon. I can see why the Chrome would work better as it can slide on the skin smoother than a plastic ring with some lube. Cheers all for the advice.

I have tried several real (not Chinese copies) of the CB200, 3000 and a copy of the 6000S. The rings cause me irritation too. Currently I have a stock Chinese cage. We have ordered a custom Jail Bird and will wear that when it arrives. There are issues with using lubricants, particularly oil based or silicone ones. Both tend to clog pores. Ideally, your scrotum and penis should be dry at all times. That will keep away many ugly problems. If you experience "A" ring pain (the ring around the balls and penis), chances are you have a ring that is too small. As little as 1/8" can make the difference. Generally, if you can get one finger between the ring and the top of your penis, it is the right size. If you can't fit one in, it is too tight; more space means it is too loose. Unless you want to be an escape artist, bigger is way better than smaller. I learned the hard way that a ring can also be too big. A 2" ring feels great but my balls escape on their own. A 1 7/8" ring is very comfortable, but I can get two fingers in. A 1 3/4" ring felt tight for a while (a few hours), but now it is fine, just one finger fits in, and nothing escapes. I haven't experienced the soreness you report. I suspect that plastic has a natural "stickiness". Stainless steel seems to be much easier to handle without any lube.

If it's the Chinese version (grooves on both sides of the base ring), it might help to fill those grooves.

One of my problems is that I'm using the Biggest ring available for comfort but one ball sits Higher than the other so it keeps forcing back into the body sometimes (not all the time). So i am going to try First thing when i wake up as the testicles are lower due to heat from the body and bed. While i wait on my new LARGER 50mm chrome ring for my other chrome cage.

Take an emery board nail file to the rings and polish out any production welds or other imperfections you can feel. I use Hemp Hand Protector Creme from The Body Shop as lube.
