Jail Bird arrived last night…I’m really excited. But now I find myself doubting the measurement of my base ring. I got a 2 1/8” oval one. The sizing ring felt good and didn’t hurt at all. It barely moves unless I actively tug on it. I can slide one finger under up to the first knuckle, almost two fingers wide if I try. If I grip around it, I can pull it off entirely without too much effort, but it isn’t easy. To me that indicates a bit of looseness. Is that right? On the other hand, the 2” ring felt quite tight. It wasn’t uncomfortable to wear, just hard to remove; however, once my balls tightened up slightly, it caused some real discomfort and even pain. William from MM mentioned that if I chose a size between the 2 1/8” and 2”, specifically around 2 1/16”, he couldn’t adjust it further. So I prioritized comfort but now worry about whether I’ll be able to take the device off when needed. My wife won’t be pleased, and she has good reason.
Does anyone have advice? Will an oval shape make it easier to remove? 2 1/8” oval ring 3/8” gap 1 1/2” cage diameter (should be spot on) 2 1/4” cage length (after checking for a few days, the shortest I found was 2 1/2”) Security screw
Jail Bird got here last evening...I'm so pumped. But now I’m questioning if the base ring size is correct. It’s a 2 1/8" oval model. The sizing ring felt nice and was painless. It hardly shifts unless I pull on it deliberately. I can fit one finger underneath up to the first knuckle, nearly two fingers wide when I push for it. Gripping around it allows me to slip it off without much trouble, though it isn't effortless. To my mind, this suggests a slight looseness. Does that make sense? Conversely, the 2" ring felt quite snug. Wearing it wasn’t uncomfortable, but taking it off was tough; plus, once my balls tightened up a bit, it brought on genuine discomfort and pain. William from MM noted that if I picked a size between 2 1/8" and 2", around 2 1/16", he couldn't tweak it further. So I went for comfort but now wonder if I'll be able to remove the device when necessary. My wife won't like this, and she's right to worry. Any advice? Will an oval shape help with removal? 2 1/8" oval ring 3/8" gap 1 1/2" cage diameter (should be perfect) 2 1/4" cage length (after checking for a few days, the shortest I found was 2 1/2") Security screw

The MOST important thing with a MM device is to get the cage size right the first time. Everything else is small potatoes. Base rings can be stretched, shaped, and gaps changed very easily and for just $10. You will really like your MM device (once you are used to it) and most likely end up purchasing more base rings in the future anyway.
