Cage or Not While Riding a Motorbike?

Spring is almost here. I can feel the sun and wind on my face, while my ears ring from a loud exhaust note. It’s been a long winter, and I’m eager to ride again. Wearing a cage in the car isn’t easy either. I’m really worried about crushing my testicles during longer trips. Does anyone have advice for a cage that works well with 6 hours of saddle time?
I'm a road cyclist. This question pops up as the weather warms, and unfortunately, there's no single answer that fits everyone. It comes down to the seat or saddle, your riding posture, the cage/ring combo you choose, and your specific body shape. For instance, I used to wear my CB3k on a more upright mountain bike frame, but it just doesn't work for me on a road bike. On the other hand, I know people who do ride with one. Look through the forum threads; you'll likely find discussions about what works and what doesn't for various riders.
I ride a Harley Electra Glide and go for hours without trouble, but I completely agree with Tom that it depends on the seat type, riding position, chastity device (CD), etc. A few years back, while wearing my CB6000s, I had an incident. Something slipped through during the ride. It turned out I needed to reduce the gap size. I didn't realize how much the plastic spacer changed under pressure. After reducing it, I haven't had issues since; metal spacers don't have that problem—3/8" stays 3/8". Stay safe!
I'm riding a '79 KZ750 bobber. It has a hard tail, but the seat is quite thin—just a simple solo pan covered in leather with about 3/4 inch of foam rubber. When hanging freely, I have to stop after roughly 70 miles to rest my back and rear end. The Sportster tank only allows me to go about 100 miles between fuel stops. I was considering that a silicone device might be better for riding. My key holder isn't keen on wearing steel 24/7; she prefers the look of it. However, I know she's open to swapping my cage when I ride out. Since I ride daily, this would mean frequent cage changes. I could handle the discomfort during my work commute (about 40 minutes each way), but I don't want my testicles distracting me when I hit the highway for a few hours. To be honest, she'd probably allow me some release time when I want to ride, but she has made it clear: when I go away for a weekend with my MC (motorcycle club in this case), I MUST stay caged throughout the adventure.
Could you try one of those affordable DHGate metal cages for a test ride? At $30.00, it might be worth the short-term investment before spending hundreds on something else. ... homesearch
I currently own two cheap Chinese cages and have a third variant on its way. This will be the last mass-produced cage I buy. If this one fails like the previous two, I'll pay for a custom rig. I'm tired of my testicles and penis getting torn up by poorly fitting rings and painful pinch points. Honestly, if it weren't for how much I love my kh (key holder), my willingness to be caged would have vanished with the first drop of blood. I need to find a workable solution for riding while locked up. I won't give up riding. Even if Christ came down from heaven and declared motorcycles tools of the devil, I'd keep them. My bike is my therapy. I refuse to let that one thing outside our relationship bring me pleasure become an endurance test just because it's tied to her. (Can you tell this worries me greatly?)
I really dislike when someone on the forum holds back and doesn't let us know their true feelings about something.

Like Tom Allen, I cycle occasionally. I have a MM Jail Bird and find cycling with it almost problem-free. Sometimes I need to tweak it slightly when mounting the bike, but that's about it.
I went for a ride today wearing my cage. I only made it 50ft before the top of the hinged ring started pinching me mercilessly. My key holder was at work, 12 miles away. I rode those 12 miles with the top of my shaft being constantly and heavily pinched... crushing my testicles with every road bump. This is not acceptable. I'll give up almost everything to keep my KH happy, except for my bike. That just isn't happening.
