Queens Keep

I can’t wait to get our Queens Keep. I absolutely adore the range of cage options that will be available soon!:) My birthday is coming up, which helps because the constant viewless period in the Revenge model starts to wear on me haha, and don’t even get me started on how sweaty it gets inside a fully enclosed cage… guys, how do you manage with the Steelhearts?

I'm certain he'll struggle in the QK. And naturally, you're going to love seeing his frustration!

I made a snap judgment and since I'm finding the long stretch in the Revenge tiresome - it's been seven days now - I've put hubby back into the Jail Bird today. He remains on no-touching duty, though.

Our Queens Keeps are on their way to us and I'm confident we'll have them by Wednesday. Really eager to see how the QK stacks up against the JB.

Oh no, this one took our longest... we ordered it on Valentine's Day. Delivery typically only takes 2-3 days traveling from TX to NY. The manufacturing time for the device itself was about two weeks from when production started.

It's Out for Shipping! Since I took my man out of his JB this morning to tease him a bit, I think the afternoon is the perfect moment to try on our new Queens Keep!

Hey, thanks for asking! I haven't had the chance to put him in it yet for wearing. But my first impressions are that it's nice - obviously, it is an MM device! - but it doesn't differ too much from the Jail Bird. The main distinction is the flat bar at the beginning of the cage instead of a round ring. Another thing we spotted between our two devices (since they're all custom-made) is that the diameter varies slightly inside the unit, from the curve on the bottom to the top. While each cage has an identical diameter, their lengths differ just a bit, which might explain it. The QK features a tighter diameter in that specific area. It's tricky to describe, but I'll attempt to elaborate and will have photos up on my blog when I post the full review. We couldn't put him into it because there are a few sharp edges we really feel need fixing before we're comfortable letting him wear it and try having erections in it.

That's cool. My Jail Bird came back the second time with some sharp spots too... I wasn't entirely happy about that but understood they could be overlooked.

Lady M, My KH has an incredibly sensitive nose and she despises the smell of an enclosed cage. I wore a QK for a year and it was wonderful, but now I'm in a Pet Trap that fits snugly; I can still keep it clean (easily) without any odor issues with just a daily shower.

CM, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on how wearing the QK compares to the JB once you've had some time locked in it. I'm currently deciding whether to order a JB or WM for my next device.

That's Sunday and Monday here for us. If you're seeking variety from the QK, I'd suggest going with the WM because the JB and QK are awfully similar, and I don't see him noticing much of a difference between them. Obviously, he'll let you know his thoughts!:)

all41 - I currently own a Jail Bird and am considering a Pet Trap for my next device, but I haven't seen much discussion about PTs, so it seems not many forum members have one. Can you tell me more about the PT compared to the QK? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I had (and still have) a JB for a year before switching to a PT over a year ago. I really didn't notice any difference in comfort or weight, although like many others, I shortened the cage by 1/4" and reduced the base ring size of the cage by 1/8". It's also easy to clean, especially if you have a good shower spray head.

What tj said, plus there is plenty of access for poking and tucking it all inside the cage. However, there's less room to play around. It works better during erections due to its more closed design. The QK's more open structure was tough on my skin under full pressure, causing small abrasions and red spots. I prefer the PT's aggressive downward sweep compared to the easier-to-wear QK with tighter jeans, as well as its overall look. The PT functions similarly to the 6000s for erection retention and comes with a removable shower head for power washing after a good scrub with soap. You can stay clean with minimal effort. I believe the PT is as close to a full cage experience as you can get while remaining fresh.

I second all41's points on comfort and ease of wearing with the "downward sweep" design. Yeah, there is less pinching when things get hard.

Not sure if this is what you're referring to, but the "middle" ring on the QK has a diameter that is 1/8" smaller than the bottom cage ring by design. On the JB, both rings are identical. The other difference I noticed is that even though the measured cage length from the center of the cage to the end is the same, the JB is effectively shorter (by about 1/8") than the QK when measuring from the bottom of the lower ring to the tip (which is how you measure for ordering). This discrepancy happens because the JB cage angles down more sharply than the QK.

For me, the JB has been a better fit than the QK. The key difference is the base ring versus the narrower flat bar on the other model; that flat bar tended to dig into my skin after about a week unless I had at least a 3/4" gap. I think this comes down to wearing it high and tight. With the JB, I have a comfortable 3/8" gap. YMMV.
