I’ve been wearing a spiral clone around the clock for roughly three weeks now. I began with the 45mm ring, which seemed fine at first despite some occasional pinching. Deciding that a tighter fit might work better, I switched to the 40mm size. That one felt a bit too snug initially, so I went back to the 45mm. A couple of weeks later, however, I tried the 40mm again and found it much more comfortable, so I stuck with that.
The issue arose during release time: I was feeling quite eager, but after taking off the main cage, I couldn’t pull the ring off. It ended up being pretty painful, forcing us to pause what we were doing and ruining the moment! What is everyone else’s approach? I’ve gone back to using the 45mm ring, hoping that it will allow me to take it off while still hard.
Next time, give some lubricant a try. You may find you soften up enough to push through, and with a bit of assistance from your partner, you’ll likely get hard again quickly. Just remember: do it in reverse order compared to putting it on. The shaft goes first, then the balls.
I’m not entirely sure how that spiral design functions, but I use a Queens Keep model. We simply rotate the ring so the post sits at the bottom and out of the way. Honestly, if I’m already excited, I don’t think I could manage to get the ring off.
You have two choices... 1. Rush so you aren't fully erect when trying to remove the base ring lol or 2. Keep the base ring on and rotate the post down behind your scrotum so it doesn’t hurt your lady parts. It really won’t bother you at all. The base ring works like a cock ring, keeping things nice and large and firm:)
Lady M, your expertise keeps impressing me, and I really admire how you articulate your points.
For my part, a ring that is small enough to work effectively becomes excruciatingly painful if left on while an erection happens without the cage. Keeping it on just *isn't* possible for me (I'm a grower rather than a shower). A solid ring needs to come off before I get erect; otherwise, I have to take a break and find ways to distract myself until enough blood leaves my member so I can remove it. For people like me, a hinged design might be the superior choice.

The base ring works like a cock ring, keeping things nice and large and firm:) I appreciate her point well. The second my cage unlocks, my dick goes up hard immediately. So I can never take off the base ring while it's erected. As she suggested, I just turn the lock post downward. This way, my ring functions as a cock ring, which actually provides great pleasure for both of us. The last time I removed my base ring entirely was about six months ago now. I don't even need to take it off when shaving.
Thanks everyone for your responses. I’ve switched back to the 45mm ring because the 40mm was too tight when I got hard; I started worrying about injury. It doesn't come off, but there is enough wiggle room that it isn’t painful. I checked eBay and found a hinged version of my cage, so perhaps that’s the path ahead. Just need to sort out the PA details for more lock in!
maff2k, you might find that a size between those two works best. Unfortunately, that option might not be available depending on what cage you are currently wearing. For me, 47mm was too loose and 44mm was too tight, so MM crafted one specifically for me in the middle. It worked perfectly.
I’ve found that if I lubricate my shaft and push it through the ring first, getting the rest of everything on or off becomes much easier. The same applies when attaching the ring: I get my balls through first, then lube up my cock and slide it under and through the ring. With a bit of pushing and pulling, I can usually manage to put it on quite easily even with a moderate erection. Hope this helps!
