Same here. This is my trick, though it only works with the missionary position. I go until I'm close to the edge, then withdraw and focus on licking and fingering her. Once I calm down a bit, I move back up for more penetration. After doing this about three times, I become well desensitized and can last longer. We have also been performing "sensitizing exercises" for roughly a month now. These include rubbing the dry glans with nylon pantyhose and spanking it lightly with a paint stick. It's good that you two are figuring out your own path. We can give you all kinds of suggestions here but ultimately it's up to you. Though unless you unravel the condom entirely along its length, some of the desensitizing cream can escape from the bottom and affect the woman. A second regular condom placed over it (unwrapped a little further) can prevent that.

It works very well, is totally safe, and much cheaper than some of the creams sold specifically for this purpose. Finding the right amount can be a bit tricky; too much can be too strong for some men - though the excitement at being used that way can make up for any lack of physical sensitivity for some;)
