Holy Trainer not fitting? Need advice!

Hello all, I got my hands on a compact, 40mm Holy Trainer today. It’s the first chastity device I’ve owned, so I’m looking forward to starting this journey. The problem is, I can’t seem to push my testicles through the ring; I suspect I have that ‘high and tight’ build. Any advice would be great. I feel like jumping up to size 45 might make it too loose. Since I haven't personally used the Holy Trainer, I'll let those who have weighed in with their insights. However, having a 'high and tight' frame myself along with a relatively small 40mm ring, here is my approach for all devices. First, put just a dab of hand lotion on your penis to help it glide through the ring smoothly without too much resistance. Avoid putting lotion on the scrotum itself; you need grip there. Wipe any excess off your hands afterward. Position the base ring underneath your testicles. Thread your fingers up through the ring, grasp the skin of the sac, and start drawing it upward. Often one testicle will slip in first. If not, give a gentle nudge with your other hand while pulling. Continue until you've drawn as much skin through as possible. With one ball inside and maximum skin pulled through, do the same on the opposite side, giving that second testicle a slight push to help it pass. Again, pull in as much skin as you can manage. Once both are through, let your penis return to its flaccid state if needed. Then guide the glans (head) through the ring far enough so you can catch it with your other hand. Once that initial part is secure, grab and pull until everything slides past completely. It helps if the head isn't too slippery for grip while the shaft has just a bit of lubrication to slide freely rather than sticking.

Consider putting it on right after you step out of the shower. Your body will be warmer and slightly more relaxed, which usually helps.

Appreciate the tips. I'll keep practicing with hopes that it clicks into place. Does your scrotum tend to loosen up over time, making both wearing and insertion easier?

Consistent wear will eventually cause your skin to relax a bit. Also, keep in mind that seasonal temperature shifts play a role. I remember New England winters being quite... challenging for me when heading out to the car early in the morning.

I share that 'high and tight' trait. Even after all these years, some days are just harder than others. My method is largely what Atone described, with one tweak. I get the testicles through as he suggests, then apply a bit of Aveeno lotion to my penis to help it slide in. It does become easier with practice.

Perhaps after wearing the 45mm for a while, you'll be able to switch back down to the 40. Many of us go through that cycle early on. The adjustment period can take several weeks. Best wishes.

I measured carefully and initially ordered a 45mm, then added the 50mm because another device with a 45mm ring felt too restrictive. When I started using the HT, I found the 45 to be slightly uncomfortable, so I wore the 50mm for about two weeks only to realize it was too loose. So I returned to the 45mm; while snug at first, it became comfortable after a week or two. Now, I stick with 45mm for everything. Just keep a small bottle of silicone lube handy for your first couple of weeks and apply it behind the scrotum/in front of the ring several times daily. Eventually, your skin will stretch and adapt, reducing the need for frequent lubrication.

Looks like I'll end up with two rings after all. Can't wait to try the new one; it should arrive tomorrow.

Quick update: the new ring arrived today and fits significantly better. I'm thrilled to finally start wearing it consistently. It will be interesting to see if a smaller size is eventually warranted for me later on. Thanks again, everyone.

Update number two: I've moved back into the 40mm ring. It feels like a waste of money to have bought the 45mm only to switch right back, but I really did need that larger size initially to stretch things out. My advice? Buy both the 45 and the 40 at once to save cash, since it seems most people (myself included) eventually move down a size.

I'm really enjoying wearing the HT2 now; it's becoming more comfortable. I've always been high and tight, but my scrotum is finally starting to stretch out, which feels great. Yesterday I wore it all day and only removed it last night before sleep. Today's goal is a full 24-hour wear... let's see how it goes.
