Greetings everyone. I’m curious to hear how other people are finding their time in chastity. My wife and I began experimenting with this over four years ago. What started as a lighthearted way to add some excitement to our relationship has become quite significant for her (if not so much for me). She doesn’t seem concerned about potential infidelity on my part, yet it often gives off that vibe!

edit I’m just wondering if anyone else is going through something similar.

Hi, I actually did review the forum rules before posting; I don't see how I've violated any of them?

Welcome to the community, Stevo1983uk. Based on my own experience, I wouldn't read too much into your KH wanting you to wear the cage. When this happened in our case, we had been experimenting with chastity for about a year. We enjoyed one night of fun and removed the cage that morning. LRC and I were preparing to spend Saturday together running errands. As we got ready to head out, we had this exchange: "Is the cage on?" "No." "Put it back on." "Why? We're going to be together all day." "I just like knowing that it's secured." That was when I realized she had fully embraced what I asked of her: taking control over me. Since then, I've never questioned why she wants the cage in place.

Hey, thanks for the reply. The problem is that she only allows me to remove it during sex. The moment we finish, she puts it back on herself. This has been our routine for the past four years. I travel frequently for work and it feels like this dynamic has evolved into a matter of trust rather than just mechanics. It isn't about the cage itself; I've worn one long enough that I barely notice it.

If it's not enjoyable, just stop. Communication is the most crucial element of chastity.

If you aren't getting anything out of it, take that thing off and explain clearly to your wife why it isn't working for you.

I concur as well, though I admit a bit of envy.

I doubt you'll find much sympathy... there are likely many men here who simply WISH their wives or girlfriends had the same approach.

I see it differently. Personally, I wanted to be sexually locked and controlled by my wife, and recently she has come to want that too. Now I am almost always locked, except when she decides to play with her property. That said, I do feel for Stevo. If your locking is driven primarily by your wife's trust issues, then you might have underlying problems that simple chastity won't resolve. It really needs to be mutually rewarding. If you genuinely don't want the lock, it should come off, and the two of you need a long conversation about it—even if she prefers keeping it on. I haven't been married as long as you both, but we had several factors straining our relationship until we sat down and talked things through. There were tears and difficulties along the way, but now we are happier than ever. Chastity arrived for us because of those discussions; it didn't create our happiness.

It isn't about the cage itself; I've worn one long enough that I barely notice it. Apologies for joining late, but are you certain it is purely a trust issue? Could it be that reality of living a male chastity lifestyle simply hasn't matched your fantasy expectations? Perhaps now you want to turn back the clock. You really need to talk with your KH/spouse about your own feelings rather than seeking validation from this forum. It's true that MC can enhance a good relationship, but it won't repair a broken one. If there is a trust deficit in your marriage, male chastity alone won't fix it; better communication between the two of you might.

I'm still fairly new here, but when I read your Original Post, my thoughts aligned closely with wishful4. On the other hand, it seems you are generally content overall and perhaps just curious about why her attitude or intensity toward MC has shifted recently. Personally, I find the term "trust issue" a bit overused for any suspicions partners might have. Essentially, having a trust issue means feeling vulnerable to loss, so why should anyone in that state be labeled negatively? Granted, if she feels vulnerable due to recent changes in how you two perceive your dynamic, then she ought to discuss it with you directly. I think we need more evidence before labeling it a definitive "trust issue," and perhaps there is more nuance to your theory than what has been shared here. With that said (typed), I know exactly how my wife & I would handle this conversation. If she told me she'd feel more secure if the cage stayed on while I traveled abroad, I would gladly agree—perhaps even offering daily photos of it still in place to help reassure her. Being trusted ranks high on my list; as an honest man, suspicion irritates me greatly. However, having my wife feel secure in our relationship actually sits slightly higher for me. Could you simply be overthinking the trust aspect while she has genuinely grown to enjoy exercising cock control over you? It might just be taking you by surprise. You won't truly understand her specific desires until you discuss it with her directly.
