Messages that never leave the outbox

Question

I've got about four messages that I attempted to send out, but they're still stuck in my outbox. The rest have gone through fine. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

They just hang around until the other person checks and reads them.:)

Exactly right. Email goes from your outbox, travels through the servers, and gets delivered. Private messages are a self-contained system; they stay put there waiting for the recipient to log in and see them.
