Is Being 27 Too Young For This?

It seems most folks here are serious, mature men rather than young adults. Should I perhaps do something else given my youth and avoid indulging too much? By the way, my motivation wasn’t particularly kinky to begin with. Yes, it is exciting and a bit kinky, but I also wanted to cut back on masturbation because I felt I was doing it excessively, so I decided to give myself a rest. Additionally, I hoped this would help motivate me to find a potential girlfriend (I am currently single, though I have an online relationship with my keyholder - using hypnosis, no physical device). It has already been 43 days. Is it normal for someone as young as I am to maintain such a long streak of chastity?

I may not have practiced chastity quite as long as some here, but I had to jump in and say no, you are not too young. I am also 27, married, and so glad that my wife and I do this together. If you read enough discussions on these forums, you will notice many older men wishing they had started sooner. That said, I have no idea what it is like to practice without a girlfriend/boyfriend or spouse acting as the keyholder.

I don't believe age should be a deciding factor for adopting a chastity lifestyle. If both parties are involved and enjoying it, the pleasures are heavenly! In fact, I always felt I discovered this somewhat late in life. Had I known about it during my thirties, our sex life would have been far more intense! Now I am 54 and my wife is 49. For us currently, it feels like a dominant - submissive companionship where she rules and I follow.

I just turned 28 and have been practicing chastity for a year, with an FLM (Female Led Marriage) for the past month. I understand it can feel taboo at times, but overall I enjoy it greatly. I recommend getting a device, starting with the cb6000 series. I have practiced both with and without one; currently, I am without because my MM's 6-8 week building process is painful. Yes, most of us are a bit older now (I'm 44 here), but I believe there are myriad reasons for that. That said, I don't go around telling others how to live their lives; only you can decide what is right for you. As for going 43 days and asking if it's normal... the only 'normal' I know for sure is a setting on my dishwasher! Statistically, it might be rare for a man in his 20s to go that long, and FWIW (for what it's worth), that is longer than I have ever gone. But I'm not here to tell you what is right or wrong. I do know that my sex drive at 44 isn't what it was at 24; those are typical bodily changes. The intensity with which I respond to chastity has also changed, though I think several factors make me much more patient now. It's not just age, but also a growing familiarity with the experience. Wherever your journey takes you, I hope you enjoy it. And if you decide that having a woman in charge of your sexuality this way is important, based on my own experiences... most men find better results looking within the kinky community than they would in a regular bar. But there are always exceptions.

I'm 33 myself and we just started. Our marriage wasn't quite ready for this until recently, though I know it now. I think more than age, it was the bond with my wife that had to mature. We needed to reach a certain point of understanding, trust, and communication before doing this.

I don't think so. I am your age and have just started this type of play with my wife. I believe it added a whole new dimension to our relationship. So as long as you are both happy, why not!

I absolutely do not think you are too young for MC. If you have a masturbation issue, this can be a good way to become more aware of your habits and perhaps help you focus on finding a mate. i dont think 27 is young for chastity; some should have started long before that

31 over here. I think it takes time to know yourself well enough to jump into something like this, which is why the ages tend to skew a bit older.

i know here and elsewhere alot are over 40 that are lock all depends on the reason an if married an if someone young knows about the benfits of chasttiy

Good question. At your age, I was living with two women and trying to get as many orgasms as possible.
