upgrading to Steelworxx equipment and piercings

I currently have the Holy Trainer 2 in use. It’s a good fit and easy to keep low-profile… honestly, it helped me return to chastity following some less-than-ideal experiences with other plastic models. That said, I’m now considering getting a PA piercing along with a Steelworxx device because of how secure they seem. The Looker 3 appeals to me as well, but the PA lock leaves me wondering about its stealth and comfort levels. I also appreciate the Securo Cage 2, though the minimalist aesthetic feels like it might be too much fun.;) QUESTIONS:

1. Does anyone know how the Looker 03 performs regarding stealth and comfort?
2. What is your experience with the Securo Cage 2? How enjoyable is it to wear, and how does the locking mechanism function?
3. AND…what do you think of this concept: a custom version of the Looker 3 that swaps out the PA lock for the locking PA wand found in the Securo 2?

I had a PA piercing done two weeks ago and am currently wearing a custom tube jacket. It resembles the standard Steelworxx tube but features extra bars running vertically in front. You can see pictures of it in the "devices for sale" section (can you guess where I got it from!) The craftsmanship is excellent, and having the PA has made me feel very secure. I really enjoy not wearing a ball ring; sometimes I forget it's there entirely. My only minor gripe is that the diameter feels just a bit large for my frame. However, since new gear isn't cheap right now, you take what you can get.... While this might not directly answer your question, if I were in your shoes, I'd probably go with the Securo cage, perhaps starting with just a ring until your PA has fully healed.

thanks for the input, maff2k. how's the PA working out for you? what's the healing time like? i haven't mine done yet--not really worried about the piercing experience (i've got a pretty high pain tolerance) but am concerned that the recovery time might cause some inconvenience. i am a distance runner, and i wonder how long the PA piercing will keep me out of training? i also am drawn to the securo cage, but, unfortunately, have not been able to find much user feedback on this device...it's pretty new. need to do more research before dropping $$$, but i have to admit it is tempting!

PA seems to be healing ok. It only bled a little on day one. I got pierced at 14g and had a 2mm ring in to start. I have now moved via 2.5mm to 3mm. After 2 weeks I felt up to wearing the tube. It twinged a little at first but now seems fine. I'm probably going to sell this Tube on as it's really too big a diameter for me. Then I have to decide between a custom Tube or the Securo cage. As for healing time I got pierced first thing in the morning. Spent the day cleaning the house. Next day I was at work. I'm fairly active at work. I wore tight fitting underwear. No rubbing or soreness. Of course your mileage may vary but searching online I don't find any problems other than sizing up too quickly. Hope this helps M

I hear what you're saying there. It does seem fast but it'd healed well and tolerated the sizing. Maybe I've been hasty, I'd read the same things that you have. I just felt healed enough to move up. I've had no ill effects. As always it's an individual thing and others may take longer. For example a lot of what I read talked about the first time urinating would sting horribly - I had no pain at all. We all know our bodies and what we can tolerate. I wouldn't tell anyone to rush anything - maybe I did but I seem to have got away with it! M

Maff2k, perhaps we are missing details on the timeline here. Did you heal at 12g for 4-6 weeks? And after stretching to 8g, and being two weeks being comfortable there, then you started using your PA device? If you only got the piercing two weeks ago, your experience is well outside the norm. Really I've only gone up 1mm which isn't a great lot - I only did that as I felt 2mm was a little thin and I didn't want the cheese-string-cutter effect! Not sure about the mutant part, maybe just a little lucky:) M

And the actual piercing, a walk in the park can be more painful:) I'm expecting to get the steelworxx looker03 in 3 weeks and it's coming with a 4mm lock so that's kind of the target size for me and there's plenty of time to get there, allowing time to heal. As to the matter of PA in general, i'm a bit surprised that it has been less than a triumph here regarding home base. In fact at the moment it's totally off limits with anything hanging from the piercing. Tried a curved barbell and the original captive bead ring so far..:cry: Wonder if anyone has had similar experiences?

The diameter change wasn't huge. With larger gauges, you move in bigger increments. A wider diameter feels both more comfortable and safer. Mine was done at 2.4mm initially, and I healed with a 3.2mm ring. For about a month, the skin around it felt sore from being pressed and pulled. It wasn't until hitting 4mm that things finally felt right.

Helpful posts; thanks everyone. I'm roughly a week out from getting the PA done and I want to order a new device... likely right after the piercing. The device will probably take at least a few weeks to arrive (which feels like too long), by which time I fully expect myself to be completely stretched and healed. To heck with safety for now. But then, "what's the rush?" After the piercing, I likely won't want or need to waste any vital fluid for a while... so no device needed during that period... Also, what is the largest gauge I can get pierced at currently? Is it 10 (2.6mm)? I think the smallest diameter available for the plug / pin for the securo is 8mm (0 gauge??) --these figures come from wikipedia-- and if they're accurate, stretching from a 10 gauge to a 0 gauge would probably take ages. But perhaps only the securo's plug itself is 8mm, while the PA pin could be smaller? I've worn 8mm urethral plugs all day long without any discomfort. Still, after reading your comments, it seems like the securo might be too heavy a burden for a fresh piercing. But damn, it looks cool. Wonder why there aren't many reviews out there? If I wanted to know more about the securo (and the Looker 3), can someone tell me where on this site is best to ask questions? Reading the securo device webpage, it seems the 8mm and 10mm refer to the urethral plug size, while you specify the PA pin separately. The Securo 1 has a minimum size of 3mm, so I'd expect you could secure it with a 3am. Having worn the tube myself, I would say that 3mm is about as small as you want to go. I suggest going for 4mm since it will support the weight, and I feel 4mm won't likely cause the cheese-cutter effect! Delivery time is a genuine factor here. It's currently around 7 weeks, so if you order now, you might still be waiting even after healing! There aren't many reviews that I can find; I haven't seen any myself. It's a new product and thus not many units have been sold yet. The custom tube I bought second-hand is lovely. The construction quality is excellent. As mentioned before, the only issue with it is that the tube diameter runs wide (apparently I'm slim!) Kind regards, M

Returning to the topic of Steelworxx, specifically the Securo Cage 1. My little elves brought me one, so I thought I'd share my initial hands-on experiences since there hasn't been much discussion on this type of product. The craftsmanship is excellent again; it's a beautiful little helmet. The only issue is that when you're just wearing the helmet alone, your body remains exposed and too much shaft is left out to tickle - I'm sure you know what I mean.:roll: So while it's comfortable, it feels more like an accessory than a true chastity device. I actually had an accident—of course I tested it immediately—and exploded everywhere!:cry: This was the first time I'd relieved myself since last summer. I really prefer my spouse to have control over this matter, which is essentially what this whole setup is about. For me, it's much more enjoyable when the device isn't just symbolic but actually functional. So, back in the Looker03 for now, which seems unbeatable so far.:P Although I don't currently see myself wearing the Securo Cage as often due to the reasons above, there may still be time and place for it. Overall, it wasn't a bad investment since, already having the PA lock, I ordered just the plain cage and saved half of the list price.

Thanks for the input, maff2k and Albert Steel. At this point, I'm seriously considering the tube jacket. I think a 0g (8mm) lock would work best for me. Back in September, I got pierced at 6g, and am now at size 2, so will be ready to order after one more stretch. I will post a modified version of this reply as a new thread, since my question has shifted: **what's the best way to measure for the inside diameter of the tube jacket? Flaccid? Fully erect? Halfway in between??**

Also consider you are looking at an 8-week delivery time now, so that might affect when you order or stretch next;-)
