I recently picked up a CB6000S. I went with the largest ring available and it worked well, but when I woke up yesterday morning one of my testicles had slipped through the belt while sleeping. It didn’t look right to leave it that way, though removing it wasn’t too difficult. Today I tried the next size down; however, when I was erect, my balls started turning a bit blue. Since neither option seems perfect, does anyone have suggestions on what I should do?

It is normal for things to get a little blue while erect, provided you aren't in severe pain and they return to their usual color once you relax. A good rule of thumb is that you should be able to comfortably slide one finger between your body and the base ring. If it feels too loose, drop down one size. The ball slippage happens when there is too much space between the cage and the base ring. Try reducing this gap, but ensure it doesn't go below 3/8". The CB series allows you to mix and match spacers with base rings to find your ideal setup. Be patient; you will work it out. Since you are new to this, expect your scrotum and testicles to feel like they are being crushed or pulled away from your body during nocturnal erections. This is also normal as your body adjusts over time. It can be hard to trust that advice while going through those seemingly endless first few times. The best approach is to get up, walk around a bit, and focus on urinating. Relieving the bladder pressure helps bring everything back to normal.

Alright thanks, it hasn't hurt yet so that sounds okay. I'm not entirely clear on what different spacers do. Could you give a quick explanation? Also, I've read about nighttime erections before. I have slept in the device for a few days now without being woken up by them, but I am unsure if that is normal:P Thanks for your response!

Spacers adjust the distance between the cage and the scrotum. You can use them to fine-tune your fit. For example; start with a spacer that allows room for an index finger up to the first knuckle, as grubber suggested. Once you find what feels like the perfect ring/spacer combination for comfort but notice your ball slipping out, try using the next smaller spacer and see if it solves the issue. If it remains comfortable, go down another size with a smaller spacer. If that causes discomfort, move back up one size, which indicates you have found your ideal spacer.

I agree with grubber, although a 1/4" gap works definitely for me. That is with a larger ring though; a smaller ring might require a 3/8" gap. I believe it really comes down to the minimum distance between the bottom of the base ring and the bottom of the cage that matters most. You can have a smaller base ring paired with a larger gap. I've tried every configuration for my CB6Ks (even without any spacer), and I still manage to slip my shaft out. My advice is to prioritize comfort. Make it secure enough so you don't inadvertently slip out, but not too tight. I really enjoy the sensation of an erection tugging on my balls, with my flesh pressed against the pre-cum slicked walls. For me, ensuring that being locked in feels pleasurable rather than a punishment makes it easier to stay committed. I've even slept unlocked and woken up early in the morning wanting to get back into the cage. Those early mornings are usually the tricky part.

I was on the manufacturer's website recently and noticed in their "parts" section that they now produce two larger sizes of base rings. I have similar issues, particularly when it gets cold, where one testicle can actually pull up into my body. I am thinking about ordering the largest ring (I have considerable girth, especially at the base, which can lead to raw skin when erect) and opting for a tighter gap between the ring and the cage. That takes some getting used to as well, but seems like the best option for long-term comfort.
