Hi there, I’m a newcomer here and could use some guidance. I’ve been following the chastity scene for a bit now and recently picked up a CB-6000. However, it’s not quite working out for me. The 1 3/4 rings are too tight (causing pain), while the 1 7/8 ring is too loose (my balls slip through). Also, when I’m erect I measure about 6”, but flaccid I’m between 3/4 and 1 inch. I need a solid recommendation for chastity gear because I can’t afford to throw more money away at this point. Any suggestions on how to make the CB-6000 work? (By the way, I believe it’s authentic, purchased from Mr. S Leathers). Thanks for your time and input.

The straightforward answer is to use a smaller spacer with the larger ring. This reduces the gap between the cage and the ring, preventing your balls from slipping out.

I'm roughly in that same range plus or minus an inch when erect. You probably should have gone for the CB6000s, which feature a shorter cage length. You could still just buy the replacement cage, though. As mentioned above, finding the right combination of spacer and ring size is key. It took me several weeks to dial it in initially. At first, I was wearing the largest ring but had to constantly readjust it because my balls kept slipping out. After a few weeks, the 1.75" ring started fitting with just a bit of effort. Even if it feels snug, as long as you can slide a finger between the ring and your testicles, it isn't too tight to cause issues. Just keep an eye on it to be sure. I've been wearing my CB6000s with the 1.75" ring and smallest spacer for several months now, around the clock. I wear them so much that I’ve already split a cage tube and broken a ring. I simply replace the parts because other devices in similar or higher price ranges just aren't as comfortable. I can't use a device with a solid (non-hinged) ring because my testicles are different sizes; if the ring is big enough for the larger one, the smaller one slips through. Hinged rings rub me raw at the hinge point, and adding tape or rubber tubing over the hinge just shifts the irritation to two spots instead of one. I did manage to fix my split tube though. A product called Weld applied into the seam with a toothpick worked wonders. Good luck.

I actually tried using the biggest spacer and it didn't help much. Yes, I realize now that I should have bought the CB6000s. I considered getting them but was worried about the slipping out issue and the pain.

I thought about buying it but was concerned with the slipping out and the pain. ***Smaller*** spacer. Decrease the gap. When you use a bigger ring, you need to pair it with a smaller spacer.

The device isn't meant to accommodate your erection. I am very short when flaccid as well (measure from where the scrotum ends and the penis begins, up to the tip). The CB6000S is too long for me. I use a Jail Bird with a 1 1/4 inch cage. It fits perfectly.

I experienced the opposite problem. I needed a device with a 3" base ring and a cage length of 7", along with an inside diameter of 2 1/2" and a gap setting of 1". It weighs in at 12lbs.

OK, I'll take the bait. That sounds like something for a horse.

member_235a0975ab 31 Aug 2026 #10

Well, I have tried large rings with small spacers and small rings with large spacers, but nothing has worked yet. I think I'm going to buy the sizing rings from Mature Metal to see what fits best there. Then I'll likely purchase a metal device in that size. I wonder if my issues stem from caging myself without help (no one acting as my Keyholder), though I can't quite see how that would matter so much. Maybe I'm just being an idiot......

If you can't resolve your size/gap issues with the 6000 model, you might struggle with sizing on a MM device... and that represents significant money which isn't easy to correct if you get it wrong. I can't imagine what exactly is giving you so much trouble. You just need to find the right ring size for your body type, then ensure the gap between the cage and the ring is small enough that your testicles won't slip through.

We live in the country and with me being locked forever in my small cage, I have teased my wife that I need to get it fitted for the neighbor's horse. I joke that she has been eyeing him a little too closely lately. TwistedMister is correct. Take your time and experiment with different size rings for a while. Try one at a time for a full day over a couple of days. Don't rush it. When you are relaxed and distracted from the ring (like watching TV or doing something non-arousing), you should be able to comfortably slip one finger between the ring and the top of your penis. Once you find which size is comfortable, move on to testing different spacers with the cage, starting with the longest and working down to the smallest that keeps your testicles in place.

I really appreciate all the advice I've received. You guys have been awesome. I think my problem lies in two areas. First, I am trying to manage this myself without any assistance. I wish someone were there to help me, but since they aren't, oh well. Second, I am overweight, which might be contributing to the issue. I've wanted a reason to lose some weight anyway, so perhaps this will serve as that motivation. I still plan on buying a smaller version of the cage.

I have been wanting an incentive to lose some weight, so i guess this will do it. I still plan on buying a small version of the cage. I was wondering why you thought you needed someone to help you. If the issue is visibility, just use a mirror. > member_d99507a7e8 wrote: > > member_0169c7b244 wrote:OK, I'll take the bait. LOL, keyholder to a horse... whenever Mrs. Twisted says "Fuck you and the horse you rode in on", my response is "Now *there's* something I'd like to see.".

Maybe i am just a complete idiot...... For Metal Rings of various sizes, I recommend Male-Essentials. Their cock ring sets are very reasonably priced and shipped quickly. I've got a whole slew of various size rings, which is fun independent of cage sizing.:) I'm happy with a 2" base ring and 1/4" gap (which is smaller than typical) and am about to order a wider 1.5" stainless steel cage from MaleChastityNow. I've been back in my old grey CB-3000, which is amazingly comfortable at 1.5" cage ID. I forgot what it's like to have some breathing room. My flaccid cock rests short and fat, which causes issues with standard, tighter chastity devices. That 15(?!) year old device is great, except for the bulky tip. If you're looking for a custom device and want something cheaper/faster than MM but still high quality, I've been happy with products from Male Chastity Now. He just introduced his new device, so I think pricing and turnaround time are lower than expected.

I agree with the bigger ring paired with a smaller spacer. I had difficulty getting the proper fit. I have small testicles (taking Testosterone makes your balls smaller and softer) and my scrotum isn't pendulous; it stays tight against my body usually. So, I figured I needed a smaller ring because of my small testicles, but they were much too tight and caused abrasions on my scrotum. It was very uncomfortable, though at least my testicles didn't slip out. I tried larger spacers, but it made no difference; the ring remained too tight to work. So I switched to a larger ring with the smallest spacer. This works well for me and is comfortable except during sleep... due to nocturnal and morning erections. My penis is smaller like yours, so the 6Ks fits perfectly for me. It looks quite pathetic visually, but it fits and feels good. My wife (KH) laughs when she examines me before my prostate milking.

rickiee_2002 may I ask why you take Testosterone? Regards

Try this: ... 07175.html It is a tiny cage at about 1.18". They sell it with various ring sizes, but you select only one at the time of purchase. It takes a month to arrive from China, but the quality is quite good. The only thing I don't like is the hinged ring, though they include some rubber tubing to place over the hinge. This helps somewhat but leaves two ends of the tubing rubbing against your skin. I fix that with some tape and can wear it for hours. It isn't my everyday device yet, but until my Jailbird arrives, it's what my wife likes me to wear during sex when she wants to focus on her pleasure without worrying about accidents while playing. It does prevent erections and looks pretty nice too. I paid about $30 shipped. I still use my CB6000s for everyday wear, but this little one is fun after I take a Viagra and my wife teases me. Unlike the CB, she can feel me inside it and even put me in her mouth. Real torture if you are into that sort of thing.:)

Believe me you are NOT ridiculous. It can be daunting to find what works best for your body type. Your solution will probably differ from everyone else's or at least the majority. Take me as an example; I have only one testicle since my left was removed last year. I must wear a 2" ring which, if I become too relaxed, can slip loose or start to crush my remaining testicle. Most of the time while wearing the cage, the sensation keeps me slightly erect so there is no problem. Only when I forget I am wearing it does the opportunity arise for it to begin crushing and irritating me. My advice is simply to keep trying different combinations. Or even as I did occasionally, obtain a flat strip of low durometer polyurethane and affix it to the inside of the ring. Low Durometer (Soft) Polyurethane has an unusual affinity (attraction) for skin; once placed, it tends to resist movement. It provides quite a drag against itself. Good luck to you and I do hope you enjoy your device for years to come and that it provides the sensations you desire while wearing it.

lookingup, I take testosterone (prescribed by a physician) because my levels were clinically low. So I inject testosterone weekly. Taking testosterone makes your testicles smaller and softer. That made finding the proper combination of ring/spacer difficult to figure out. Finally, we got it right. I wish that CB had manufactured a ring slightly smaller than the one I wear but larger than the smallest option; that would be perfect.

rickiee_2002, ah yes that makes sense. We spent ages doing the same thing before we finally ordered our Looker 03 which was altered to my specific design using a 2nd integrated lock rather than the somewhat ugly padlock they typically use (apparently it's HUGE when made for an 8mm/0 gauge PA:o ). Hopefully back tomorrow as I've spent two weeks shortening it bit by bit until the fit was perfect, then sent it off for welding and re-polishing!!! I know its expensive but worth every penny. I hated the cb6000 so much. Good luck with it.
