Seeking a new chastity unit that doesn't cost an arm and a leg

I’m hunting for a new device without spending too much, yet they all seem angled incorrectly and appear likely to pinch me. Maybe I am searching in the wrong spot or trying to save money at the expense of comfort; any advice? My CB600s fits reasonably well with an acceptable angle and no pinching, but I struggle to find a back ring that feels comfortable. Check out the new Holy Trainer V2. It features a solid round ring with no hinges, and the cage softens as it conforms to your body head. It is the most comfortable unit I own. Avoid the inexpensive Chinese options sold on Amazon; they tend to rust and have rough edges. I took that route myself and purchased so many cheap units that I could have afforded a high-quality custom piece instead. A solid ring is definitely superior. Look for the new Holy Trainer version 2, which is very comfortable. Shop around but stick to authentic products. Initially, I ordered one labeled as a Holy Trainer at half price, only to discover it was an extremely soft and rubbery variant. The ring itself was so flexible that you could twist it easily. Additionally, the cage could be bent upward completely for release of my penis. However, I ended up paying more than MSRP, settling on $175 during a sale at with no shipping costs.

Solid rings are much better. I really like my new top-mount setup under the locking post on my latest device from MCN, where the cage top aligns perfectly with the base ring. There is no problem with skin folding at the top either. There are Chinese options available with solid rings as well. Steer clear of anything Chromed; I would recommend checking DHgate. The HT does a thoughtful job in how its cage and ring integrate. It offers comfort while remaining enclosed. I own the v1 model. Overall, having spent enough on various inexpensive steel devices, I generally advise fitting with either a CB6k (large or small) first, then ordering a custom steel unit. MCN currently sells one for $250, which is an excellent value. Plus, you avoid the 6-8 week wait time.

It often looks like it could shift considerably where the cage, lock, and ring converge, potentially creating pinch points. However, for that price point, you really cannot go wrong with this option. I have seen identical units sold at significantly higher prices.

Thank everyone for the feedback. I purchased those Chinese devices as well; they do not rust—at least mine haven't—but their sizing seems inconsistent, being either too tight or too loose. One unit does not pinch me, yet its back ring and cage are both quite large. The silicone ones don't work out well either, at least the CB copy versions seem prone to slipping off easily.

That mirrors my experience, Rip. Now that I have gained familiarity with various cheap cages through trial and error, I switched to custom devices (for instance, the Contender shown in my prototype here).
