Survey on how long we stay in chastity

Note: I want to know the typical duration between orgasms. Just a rough estimate to get an idea of what other people do. I define chastity as being locked in continuously, with only short breaks for cleaning or valid reasons like chafing or medical visits. Additionally, there is no full/pleasurable orgasm during those times. So “locked and loaded” is how I see it for this survey. Having passed the two-month mark, I smiled when I read a post elsewhere yesterday claiming that going three days without an orgasm was very hard. I remember those tough days from my earlier period. It made me realize that I don’t really know what most other guys are doing. This is our chance to find out. I couldn’t list every possible time frame, so just pick the one closest to your usual duration or how long you have gone. Your choice.:)

This is going to be a very skewed graph. Why did you choose those times as the cutoff points?

I'm not sure how to answer this one. I had been locked for over a week in a row (I started this less than three months ago), but have had sex with an orgasm three times in the last two days. Also, she sometimes unlocks me without PIV, but I got an accidental orgasm while giving her oral sex. This happens a few times usually after about a week or so without an orgasm. If you are thinking about the longest consecutive time, then it is over a week.

My wife said at least one month for the first week while I adjust, and by week four my balls are the right color and nice and full. Plus she likes being the center of attention.

I voted in the 3 week area but that would be an average. I am totally at my wife's discretion. I'm not allowed to bring it up or even hint as to when I will be unlocked next. Have gone as long as two months and as short as one week. Never know.

I'll put 3 weeks as an average, have done a month a few times, record is 2 months but don't usually go that long.

I have known people into every other fetish or kink I engaged in except for chastity. Just the mention of it draws puzzled looks and statements of how I must be crazy. I know a lot of devices are sold but I wonder how many regularly practice chastity on a steady basis. Now that I am doing much longer term I wonder if I have just bought into internet fantasy being lived online.

This is a rarefied kink. In all my years in the NYC leather scene, we never had a single presentation on the topic of enforced chastity. At major leather events, Access Denied used to be there to sell belts. They would sell one or two to an event with over 1,000 attendees. The Stockroom had the CBxxxx products and they brought two or three and rarely sold even one. The Internet has brought a lot more people into this kink, at least to read and write their fantasies as fact. The CB series and the cheap Chinese cages have been selling to people who want to try it out. But I don't think there are a lot of guys who are locked up for a long time. By that, I don't mean months at a time, just that they wear the device for a long time. I've been wearing mine for over a year now. My keyholder takes it off and gives me an orgasm quite frequently and teases me every other day. Don't confuse the interval between orgasms with long term participation in enforced chastity. They aren't the same thing at all.

I am beginning to think my wife is taking chastity too seriously. I am 10 weeks into no orgasm and no end in sight. All she keeps saying is that if she has her way I would not cum again. I am worried because 25+ years ago she said no more intercourse and it has been about 25+ years since we had intercourse. When it comes to sex, I tend to believe her as she is not a penis fan.

Well my wife decided the ground hog determines the length of my next lock up. Wont be seeing my shadow for 6 weeks.

You can not ask these two questions like this... chastity and orgasm denial/control are not the same thing. They do and can exist together but they do not have to. For example, my hubby is locked, always, but I unlock him, use him and may even allow him to cum if I'm in the mood. Yes some do use chastity and denial together... meaning locked up and no cumming and no unlocking until you are going to cum but for a lot of people that's not how it works. Someone could be locked in chastity everyday yet their wife/kh may make them cum everyday. Same with someone could be locked everyday but have sex everyday without cumming. So I'd love to answer your question but these are two different things that should be asked separately.

The first paragraph you are asking for average time between orgasms. Although it is not stated I am guessing that you are looking for a full orgasm, i.e. a ruined orgasm would not count. I have only been in chastity for 11 months however as of last May my KH took possession of the key for my jailbird (up until then I had the key/security screw). At the same time we did away with our contract and she advised that she would determine when I would get an "O" and there is no set date or time limit, and she does not tell when the next date will be. With my encouragement she has given me limited "O's". Since giving me an "O" in July I have one in October and one in January. Based on this I get an "O" on average every 3 months. The second paragraph you define chastity as being locked except release for cleaning or reason such as a doctor visit. You can define it however you like. I answered based on mine and my wife's definition, since your definition doesn't match ours. Everyone plays it by there own rules. The rules may even be variable within each couples play.

Chastity does seem to not attract many guys compared to other fetishes. Just look at the small number of new posts each week on the community and even FetLife. I think I am going to start a new topic to find out what others think chastity is. Is it just wearing a device for the time that you would not be having sex anyway?
