I am still fairly new to being in my cage full time. My KH was reluctant about the CM thing from the start and we had a bumpy start, on and off for the first 3-4 months, but I think she has concerns that CM will lead to other kinks that she is not prepared for or desires, such as BSDM or other things. I think the truth is I like to explore and try new things and especially if it increases my libido. I tend to want to be challenged to find my limits. I get a nice rush with any trepidation. My question is how many of my fellow CM’s have expanded their interests after starting with CM? Do you tend to be satisfied with just being locked up?
I think often it's said that it's a slippery slope. I believe once you try any new kinky stuff you might want to try something else, then another thing and so on... but that doesn't have to be the case. You are in charge of your own exploration while on your journey. Perhaps just talking about the fantasy of new things is satisfying without actually doing it. A lot of times I'm not into something we've talked about in fantasy but after months of fantasizing I might actually want to. I will say that willingness to explore will, obviously, lead to expanding your kinky side but it certainly is not necessary.
Chastity is the tamest fetish we have engaged in so my wife's only early objections were a fear of a health issue concerning my prostate and feeling guilty about denying me. We fixed that with ruined orgasms and me thanking her only when she did not let me cum until she got rid of her guilt. Well, not entirely.:) We have not really added anything more. More of reducing our BDSM play to domestic discipline, cbt and nipple torture. There is a little D/s but not much, because I am pretty alpha and only submissive in the bedroom and even then, not all the time. I had three girlfriends since the age of 14. All three are bisexual. The first I was engaged to, the second cuckolded/dominated me and the third I married and who brought her best girlfriend into our sex life. I have no idea of what it is like to be in a relationship with a vanilla woman. I can honestly say that between my wife and her girlfriend we have tried almost every fetish that you would find on FetLife. My wife mainly enjoys the teasing and denial part. She still lets me cum every 2-3 months. It helps that she leans more towards women, is not a penis fan and thinks ejaculating is disgusting. I have to throw anything my cum gets on, into the wash. She will not even lay on sheets or a towel that has a cum stain on it. Heck, I cannot even sleep in her bed. The dog can though!!!

Years ago - 15? Mrs. Edge complained about the possibility of one kink not being enough, and then needing more. But we took things slowly, and ended up in a pretty good place with all of that. It's okay to be nervous, but nobody is forcing you to go at a pace you're not comfortable with.
What can you do when one desires more exploration and the other does not? I suppose a compromise can be achieved.
What do you do now when one of you wants to go to the opera and the other one wants to go to the monster truck rally?
That one is easy, we both like the opera Your point taken.
In our case chastity has been the start of a greater exploration into our sexuality and fantasies. Chastity has opened the door to greater honesty and sharing. I don't see how anybody could ever be led into kinks they don't want to try, chastity or not. So in my view it's all positive and simply another step in an always evolving honest relationship. d
