I’m wondering if anyone has managed to get good results with a custom-built chastity device. I currently have one on, though it’s not locked yet. I’m doing a trial run to verify its functionality before giving the lock and key over to my Goddess Wife. This is the third version of this design I’ve created in five years. The earlier attempts were impractical, requiring me to cut them back repeatedly. However, this latest one appears more effective. It’s a simple tube design where a PVC pipe connects to a cover that belts around my waist. One major requirement is met: it remains discreet and unnoticeable under clothing. I haven’t tried urinating with it yet, but the previous versions handled that without issue.
If this trial proves successful, I’ll share more details.
The Altairboy site used to feature many examples of these devices. However, a few years back he removed all his photos to avoid violating local laws regarding pornographic images. You might find some written descriptions useful if you haven't visited the site yet.
Update: My prototype failed the urination test. It didn't just fail; it failed dangerously with blood in my urine. Don't worry, I'm fine today now, but I had a similar failure with the CB-2000 which also ended up trashed. I'm starting to question whether these devices might be worse than the problem they solve. Or perhaps I just have too much girth in my Johnson (6-inch circumference). Either way, I need to rethink this entire approach.

I don't know exactly why, but I won't attempt anything sexual for at least another 24 hours. There has been no blood in my urine since yesterday, although seeing it was enough to make me discard the prototype. Seeing blood come out of the Johnson is something I never want to experience again. I suspect the position of the device may have caused constriction.
Sorry to hear about your mishap TB; it sounds terrifying. I personally cannot tolerate ball-trapped devices at all due to a slight issue down there, which has led me to make numerous homemade attempts so far. The best one yet is a modernized version of the old antiques you can find by searching images. I really wish someone would factory-produce something similar because my current piece isn't perfect. I took a plain white boy's jock strap cup with air holes and drilled a hole in the front to hold a short piece of smoothed-down PVC pipe from the hardware store. I used hot glue to fix the pipe permanently inside the cup, adding two small brass 'L' brackets on the interior for stability; these were screwed into the cup and glued onto the tube. Two top holes in the cup allow my mistress to tie rope around them at the back, while two bottom holes attach light nylon ropes that secure it between each leg, functioning like a jock strap without the main strap. This setup works quite well—it's very functional yet frustrating—and can't really be worn under work clothes or used for sleeping. However, I have worn it for many hours during weekends and play nights, showing great potential if further developed! Another quick option we devised: she found some small paisley shower caps at Bed Bath and Beyond. While the caps themselves are useful, they come in drawstring bags made of waterproof plastic-lined material with those convenient pull-strings. She added grommets to the top and bottom of a couple of these bags and can pop one onto me within minutes by tying the cords at the back, effectively blocking everything off. Naturally, I could remove either device if needed, though that wouldn't please her much.
I like the jock cup idea; it has potential. Is there a way to lock it in place?
Yes, we've considered swapping the small nylon ropes for leather strips. If you did that, you could attach any of the smaller locks to the buckles, similar to how many gags, hoods, and trainers are secured. Once attached this way, escape becomes difficult, though someone would need custom-cut the leather strips for you.
Have you considered learning to weld stainless steel? I constructed my cage from 316 stainless and it fits like a glove. I'm using an arc welder with matching rods and achieve quite good results that require minimal tidying before polishing.
Eventually, after wearing my Looker 03 twenty-four hours a day as a Professional Engineer, I became dissatisfied with its fit and design for long-term use. The quoted price for returning it for modification made me hesitant about being unhappy again, shaping our decision to forge our own path! With my home workshop now equipped with Mig, Tig, Lathe, Milling, Band saw, pillar drill, and all necessary associated equipment, I am experimenting with original designs soon hoping to offer handmade options using materials typically linked to the military aircraft industry—not Aluminium.
My Looker 03 has now been modified exactly as I want it for less than the quoted price was higher than what I paid for the Tig welder. A solid result overall! Although, I must add that I was already an accomplished welder from my Engineering apprenticeship thirty-two years ago; this is like swimming again!
It sounds like you have a really nice setup and plan to start building custom devices. Are you thinking of taking customer orders? What metal are you going to be building them with? What change did you make to your Looker 03?

Yes, the workshop is looking good now. On the Looker, I replaced the back ring with a narrower, lighter, thinner anatomical one but kept the same diameter as the original. I shortened it slightly and turned the PA lock around because it was rubbing against me and creating a horrible burning sensation (not the maker's fault BTW) due to my poor choice of placement! Yes, I have come up with some ideas of my own and will be offering custom builds; more details coming soon!
I have never tried this before.
Once I made something similar to the PA-5000 using copper tube plus a titanium curved barbell. No injuries occurred, though it was fiddly to get on and off. Now I am using a modified holy trainer. Good luck with your experiments, guys! Post some pics!
I've made several changes to my Bon4M over the last year. I had previously posted a long entry about it but decided it was too detailed and wordy, so I deleted it. The most recent change occurred several months ago when I took one of the stainless Chinese rings with a flat-sided pin and shaped it into an oval. Then I cut off the Bon4M guide pins and filed the receiver to accommodate the flat-sided locking pin, which prevents the cage from rotating. This is what I wear most often now. It is very easy to put on without poking or drawing blood after a T&D session.

Tried a plastic drain trap secured with chains locked to the trap. Epic fail. The tube was too big and showed through clothing; the chain being too tight caused chafing and sores.
This thread is old but nice work on the Looker 03; your engineering skills really paid off. have you got any update?
