CB-6000S failing to stop masturbation. What are the other options?

I’ve had my CB-6000S for a bit more than twelve months. Before this past week, I went longer than two days without wearing it. This time around, I attempted an extended chastity period for the first time. After roughly 72 hours inside the apparatus, I wanted to see if it truly stopped me from masturbating. I discovered that by humping against the mattress, I could reach climax quite fast while still locked up.
I realize a trapped-ball design relies on psychological cooperation as much as physical constraint. Mentally, I can convince myself the device is secure and stop trying to wiggle free. However, it’s frustrating that my current setup didn’t actually stop me from masturbating even though my penis remained entirely inside.
So I’m wondering if a different, better-fitting model—perhaps made of metal—could keep me locked out, or if trapped-ball designs just aren’t right for me personally. Since both my interest in chastity and my partner’s willingness to lock me up are strong enough, I am open to trying one of the more reasonably priced metal options (like a Jailbird or Steelheart) if there is evidence they might perform better than my CB6000S.
Some hypotheses:
- Perhaps the CB-6000S failed because there was too much excess space in the cage. (I am definitely a grower rather than a shower, so when flaccid, there is plenty of room.)
- Maybe the smooth surface of the CB-6000S allowed me to slip out more easily compared to a barred chastity cage.
Maybe it was because this model lets pressure build on the underside of my penis; a cage that curves downward and holds the penis closer to the balls might stop that sensation from triggering release.
- Perhaps my sensitivity is such that I will always be able to get off by humping, regardless of which device I wear.
Has anyone here experienced something similar? Did you find a device that stopped masturbation more effectively?
Any apparatus featuring a Prince Albert or similar piercing has the potential to be much more effective. I doubt there is even one millimeter of wiggle room around my own piercing, and I wouldn't want to experiment with that option right now. There are several devices designed to enclose your penis rather than just cage it. Some fit very snugly, like a Lori's tube or mousetrap style, while others offer broader coverage even if the fit isn't as precise. If you cannot move much due to the piercing and touching is limited by the enclosure, it seems likely you would see better results. I am not as young as I used to be though. Perhaps back then I could have managed with just a qtip and 1 mm of wiggle room—I simply don't recall for sure. The Grinder
I have always wondered why men want to masturbate when they are the ones who requested chastity. I would really like to understand the reason. It seems interesting because my approach is quite different. Not necessarily better, just distinct. I view it somewhat like a cuckold trying to stop his wife from sleeping with other men; he is defeating the very thing he desires. If you don't mind me saying so, I am happy to listen and learn. I can also offer feedback on your question. I can hold a large vibrator against any device and still cum. As @The Grinder noted above, even a Q-Tip or similar object fitting into the cage works for me too. However, it is *not* my desire to cum that drives things; so even when unlocked, I do not masturbate because I made a promise to my wife. I would feel as guilty as if I had been unfaithful with another woman. Yes, I know, but that is just how I am wired. With chastity devices, the saying "where there is a will, there is a way" fits well. I own clippers capable of cutting old rusted locks from past experiences, so I can always cut my lock using those or my Dremel tool with some protection for my penis. My Jailbird has a security screw that I can unscrew with needle-nose pliers. I am not willing to get pierced just for the sake of a fetish; I already spent eight days in the hospital due to a urethral infection, so I am still a bit cautious. My Jailbird is small enough that my penis tip touches the end, yet when I start to harden, it simply pushes the entire device forward because my balls are not fixed in place. They move, and so does the device. I do not get a full erection but enough of one that a Q-tip can easily make me cum. I tried this once and stopped just in time, confirming I can do it. It might sound odd, but knowing I *can* cum if I truly want to makes me feel better because I don't feel trapped. I imagine you prefer feeling trapped; I guess you want protection against your own impulses. I understand that perspective, though no one has explicitly stated it quite like this before.:)

I doubt I have one millimeter of wiggle room around my piercing and really wouldn't want to try that route. Thanks--these are helpful suggestions. I've actually considered getting a PA for chastity purposes. The concept of being unable to pull out of the device is very appealing, though it would be less impressive if the device still allowed me to get off. But I have never had a piercing before, and I must admit I am quite nervous about it. It would be somewhat uncharacteristic of me. If I did get a PA, my partner's reaction would likely be first excitement ("This is awesome,"), followed by doubt ("Wait, is this really my partner, or his alien doppelgänger?"). > member_218d68eaa6 wrote: > I have always wondered why guys want to masturbate when they are the ones who asked for chastity. I really would like to learn why. I find it interesting since my approach is so different. Not better, just different. I look at it as if a cuckold was trying to prevent his wife from having sex with other men. He is defeating the one thing he wants. If you do not mind I am willing to listen and learn. For me, chastity is akin to bondage. People who enjoy bondage experience it in various ways. For some, restraint is simply a vehicle for feeling sensations (from sex, tickling, SM, or the binding itself). For these individuals, whether they can escape doesn't matter much; they aren't trying to break free because the restraint facilitates sensation play, which is their goal. For others of us (like me), bondage is only truly exciting if it feels inescapable. I like being under my partner's physical control and value that control for its own sake, not merely as a tool for sensation. So if he ties me up, I will test the knots. You might ask, "Why would you want to get out of the bondage your partner put you in? After all, you wanted to be tied up." The answer is that discovering I genuinely cannot break free through serious testing feels very intense. Asking why I desire a chastity device that makes getting off genuinely difficult is like asking why I prefer being bound in a way that resists escape. My point isn't just avoiding ejaculation; it's the inability to cum without permission. A device that prevents release while locked but allows slipping out with soap and time feels somewhat like wearing handcuffs when you know there is a spare key on your dresser drawer nearby—it’s still appealing, though not as potent as being truly locked up with no access to the key. Conversely, if I can get off easily within it, it's like having my hands tied in front of me but with knots right where my fingers can reach. That might suit some people well, but for me, there isn't much point.
For what it is worth - - - My Prince Albert piercing hurt less than I expected. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate the pain at about 1.5, similar to stepping on a sticker. Having my balls pop out from a ball-trapping device was significantly worse. There was a nervous wait for my turn in the studio, followed by a two-step pinch over several seconds until it was done. It remains the best piercing I have ever had, even without considering its use for chastity. I wish I had done it twenty years ago, though there are many things from that time I still wish I'd addressed earlier. The Grinder
Yep. After I got the PA hook installed in my Contender, I no longer move against the inside of the cage. Just sliding along the inner wall can provide plenty of stimulation.
My wife isn't fond of the idea of me getting a PA, and I have to admit I don't think I want one either (though both views might change in time—who knows?). Being locked inside a tight Looker 02 with a plug extending 15mm behind the A-ring, leaving the tip of my penis covered by a stainless steel cap, there isn't much room for me to masturbate. Even if it is possible with enough effort, it is considerably harder than within the CB6000S. With the CB-6000S (I used an inexpensive copy), masturbation was a breeze simply pulling the lock back and forth.
Look02, never say never, but yes... we all with PAs are big fans and tend to get a bit proselytizing about it. Sorry!:) I'd experiment with sounding before committing to a permanent urethral plug. I found the experience very enjoyable. The idea of being constantly filled and trapped gives me quite the head-trip; actually, I am considering getting a PA wand for inside my MouseTrap. Gayinmate, another alternative that isn't "insanely expensive" is MaleChastityNow (MCN). MCN operates in the US and is great to work with. You don't need a PA for his Contender model, much like the Jailbird and Steelheart. However, you can always upgrade later if you wish.
Putting a plug inside your urethra doesn't seem very smart at first glance. But although I had no prior experience with sounding, it was no problem at all (YMMV though). Just don't rush—take your time and use plenty of lubricant (I use aseptic lube meant for catheters; the first time letting my plug slide in took me half an hour or more). And yes—it is a real nice mindfuck to know that not only is your penis caught inside a cage, but there is also something physically inside it. The shape of the Steelworxx steelplug designed for the Looker is just perfect; most times I forget about its presence after just a few minutes.

Your best option might be to cut the whole thing off. I understand the appeal of it being 'hot' that you are absolutely prevented from achieving an orgasm. Perhaps you just need to find something that feels more like 'warm'. About a year ago, I thought I had done my utmost to achieve this total prevention. I even put a padlock through both prongs on my wife's Hitachi vibrator because I once experienced a rather quick ruined O with it one day. Then about six months later, while working in my shop and using an oscillating palm sander, I realized how powerful it was; indeed, just touching the case of the sander to my cage almost triggered another RO. "where there is a will, there is a way" It's like being on a diet. You have a set goal but then you get a weak moment and order that large dessert after dinner. It tastes great, but shortly afterward, you feel let down. What did I just do? Was it really worth it? My answer is almost always no! Many here have said—and I believe them true—that a chastity device acts primarily as a deterrent to masturbation.

I am considering getting a PA, but I would want to ponder it for *a while* before committing. My understanding is that unlike other piercings, PA holes may never fully close once the jewelry is removed. Since it is potentially a permanent change, it isn't something I'd do on impulse. Thanks for suggesting the Contender. That is a very reasonable price for a custom metal chastity device. It sounds as if you are happy with yours. > member_56a3d51043 wrote: > > I get the idea of it being 'hot' that you have absolutely prevented achieving an orgasm. I suspect our motivations for being interested in chastity differ. You seem to be drawn to devices that make masturbation more difficult because your goal is simply to refrain from doing it. That isn't my primary motivation.
