Everyone adores the MM Jailbird; please share your insights

It feels like everyone is fond of their Jailbird, and I want to join the crowd. My Holy Trainer has served me okay, but the advantages of the JB are pretty clear now. Here’s my question: how many of you find it tough to pull out? I’m fairly confident my ring size matches up with my HT, yet I still feel like slipping it off is too easy. With ball traps, these kinds of issues come up often enough. But add in punishment screws and the like on the JB, and you’d really hesitate even trying a pull-out. My will isn’t that weak; I wouldn’t yank it off just for some solo fun—it’s actually more enjoyable to let my KH handle things—but I do crave that helpless sensation where escape seems impossible (a PA would be ideal, but I need to convince my wife first). Would you all agree the JB is reasonably hard to pull out of, particularly when using those punishment screws?

Lockedwithlove, no temporary device is totally secure without a PA piercing. The JB follows that rule too. This is my third MM device, and I prefer the JB for both comfort and hygiene. Yes, if I’m flaccid enough and soapy in the shower, I can pull out from the back, as most people probably can. However, my base ring is tight enough that self-pleasure would be difficult and likely not very enjoyable. Regarding the spiked inserts, I haven’t heard a single positive review about them. Most find them too painful. One caveat: it took me three MM devices to get the measurements right—specifically the cage diameter. While many discussions here focus on length, the cage diameter is actually more critical because you can't change it once fitted. Along with the correct base ring size, it dictates how well the device sits.

Thanks for pointing out the punishment screws; pain isn’t really my preference. It sounds like I’d enjoy the Jailbird, and it’s fine with me that pulling out requires getting thoroughly soaped up and wet—that’s precisely the level of difficulty I’m seeking. Hi Mitch, I own both a MM Jail Bird and Watchful Mistress. I did plenty of research before ordering either one but didn’t find many strong positive comments about the inserts, at least for long-term use. My wife prefers to "lock me and leave me." There’s usually lots of teasing in between, so having to ask her to remove the screws just a few days after inserting them wouldn’t sit well with her. Regarding staying clean? I’ve never had an issue with either device, and trust my wife would let me know if something was missed or if things were getting 'nasty' down there.

Cleanliness is easy in the JB. I’m not sure about the specific screws you mentioned, but I wear mine with a long punishment pin 24/7 without any issues. Since I go commando all day and night, there’s occasional pinch in the ball area, but otherwise, everything is good.

From my experience, wishful4 is spot on. A temporary device (TBD) can only be so secure; yes, a piercing boosts security for almost any device, but it comes with risk. Many people have integrated piercings into various devices—both those designed specifically for them and others adapted to work with one. I assume most manage this without complications, though there is always some degree of risk involved, especially when the device works in tandem with a piercing. As for the Jailbird, I wore mine intermittently for about two years and really liked it. I’ll admit that escaping by backing out of the cage was definitely possible, and I agree that cage diameter is crucial for a good fit. When I switched to my Watchful Mistress, I shortened the device slightly but kept the same diameter, which turned out well because her device fits much tighter than my Jailbird did with identical inside measurements. Getting those exact dimensions right can be tricky and may take some effort. Regarding security pins, I ordered all three sizes with blunt tips. The smallest one worked best for me. Could I still pull out? Maybe. But there is no way I could get back in once it’s off. So, I’m not even going to try. Best of luck with your decision.

I tested most popular off-the-shelf devices and even some budget options on Amazon. I actually spent more on these non-custom models than I would have if I had just bought the JB from the start. The main difference is that unless your penis matches the device's girth and length exactly, you aren’t getting the best fit. My JB hugs my shaft sides and tip like a well-fitted glove. I don’t own a Jailbird but have a similar custom stainless steel device with an open design (the Contender). I’ll say it’s my favorite among ten or so devices (losing count now). A well-fitted, high-quality stainless steel construction beats everything else for comfort, security, and style.
