Hello! As a guy with an online profile as a cashmaster—dealing with verbal abuse and all—I frequently get approached by submissives about becoming their keyholder, even those who reside at a distance. I understand the mechanics of chastity when people are together face-to-face and have no trouble managing someone wearing a device locally. However, the online side is still a bit unclear to me. I searched through these forums hoping to find previous discussions on this topic, but my search terms were likely too broad, so please forgive me if I’m repeating what’s already been said.
To be honest, unless there are other compelling reasons for me (such as holding the key in return for payment—though then one has to consider what that fee or arrangement looks like), I don’t have much interest currently. Not everyone is focused on the financial side, but enough people have asked about it that I decided it was time to investigate further. Even if I give it a shot without the money aspect, perhaps I’ll find myself enjoying it more than I expect;)
Have you ever had an online keyholder who lived far away? What kind of setup did you use? How did the Keyholder ensure compliance? And what happens if you want to be released but the Master is traveling and can’t get the physical key back to you quickly enough? What seems to work best?
I might just be missing the obvious here, which is exactly why I’m posting—to learn. Thank you all in advance for your thoughtful replies.
I manage my husband along with several long-distance submissives (currently just one for personal reasons). My boys are bound by rules and face punishments if they don't comply; they remain locked, teased, and denied. Sometimes I keep the physical key myself, but they usually have access to an emergency replacement—often sealed in tamper-evident packaging—or they use serial locks that let you verify visually whether it has been cut. They are required to check in with photos showing the date or by following my instructions exactly as described. Regarding teasing: I assign them tasks and instruct them on how to tease themselves while denying, after which they lock back up. Photos, videos, and live cam sessions help tremendously for long-distance keyholding (KH). I hope this information is helpful!
Thank you! That helps a lot. I'll definitely think it over. The idea of using photos as proof is simple yet effective—a detail I had previously missed.
