There are moments when I find myself doubting my KeyHolder’s dedication to our MC way of life, though I suspect the real doubt is directed at myself. A recent event really brought this into focus.
We hosted a short grand duration overnight, and my spouse preferred that I remain unlocked while she was here. She’s usually very physical with me, enjoying some roughhousing, so she thought unlocking would be better. When evening shower time came around, I wondered if she’d permit an unlocked bath since that’s when I’m most likely to touch myself. Honestly, in a twisted sort of way, I was quite looking forward to it after being locked for about a month.
As I prepared to bathe, my spouse leaned close and told me, “You can shower without the key tonight, but if we’re playing this game, we’ll play by my rules. If you cheat in the shower, I will know, and no more games from then on. I might even make you sell your device too. Consider that carefully.”
I did consider it, and I didn’t cheat during the bath or while remaining unlocked for the rest of her stay. Once she left, she quickly had me re-lock up again. Surprisingly, I feel a bit relieved to be under lock and key once more. While my doubts about her have faded, I’m starting to wonder if I am committed enough and possess the endurance to last as long as she desires. Does anyone else experience similar second thoughts?
Exactly! But then she’ll say or do something that sparks arousal and emotion, strengthening both my devotion to chastity and her.
This happened just earlier this week. For years, I’ve been the one putting on my device while my wife handles closing it. She usually loves teasing me with comments like "how long will it be this time?" We returned from vacation on Tuesday; I had been let out due to our travel arrangements. I was allowed to sleep without it that night, planning to re-lock in the morning. As my wife headed out for work, she came back into our bedroom to kiss me goodbye and expected to click the lock shut. However, since I’d put it on about ten minutes earlier (knowing she was running late), I took the liberty of closing the lock myself. I quickly realized I had made a mistake. She asked quite sternly why I had decided to do that on my own. I explained that I knew she wanted me locked and thought I was doing her a favor since she was pressed for time. She grabbed my cage, looked straight into my eyes, and said, "You put it on; I always lock the lock. It isn’t your job to do it yourself. Never do this again." Then she checked the mechanism (my initial is engraved on hers) to ensure I hadn’t swapped in a different one. I was expecting her to smile or chuckle, but she didn’t. I apologized, promising it wouldn’t happen again, and she gave me another hard look before leaving. I remain committed, though times like this remind me that she is deeply invested as well.

It seems that over time, I tend to doubt her commitment, likely because she doesn’t talk about it constantly like I do. You are right; it feels wonderful when our partners demonstrate their investment in this lifestyle alongside us. But why can't we simply stick to what we say without needing constant reassurance? This morning, I thanked her for speaking up before my shower. She mentioned that she could tell how much I wanted to touch myself, but if I’m going to play the MC game, then I must truly play it. In other words, I’ve committed to staying chaste for her, so I should stay chaste whether locked or not. It’s easier said than done as time passes. That is precisely why I am relieved to be back under lock and key.
