Private messages aren't being sent

I’m attempting to send messages, but they seem stuck in my outbox… Any suggestions?

In contrast with emails, PMs remain in the outbox until the recipient logs in to retrieve them. Also, keep in mind that new users (meaning those who have posted fewer than three times) don't have private messaging enabled yet. It could be a good idea to locate the user's email address and use that instead.
