Hello,

I’ve gone through all the advice I could find on this topic but…

I’m currently trying to determine the right size for a metal chastity device. With my CB6000, my foreskin tends to poke out through the vent holes in the shaft, which leads to swelling (oedema). To fix that, I sealed those holes with silicone.

My main question is: since a cage isn’t fully enclosed like some other devices, do I need one with more width? A 35mm fit works well otherwise. If it’s not wide enough, won’t the skin get pushed up between the bars all along the shaft and cause that same swelling?

I’m also considering length. My flaccid size is about 9cm. By compressing my penis slightly upwards, I can comfortably manage an 8.5cm cage, or even possibly one around 8cm if it’s smaller. A more compact unit would be ideal.

However, when the device shortens like that, the shaft naturally thickens (the tissue has to go somewhere) up to roughly 40mm. Should I take my sizing measurements as something along the lines of 85mm by 40mm?

The gap is crucial here too—everything connects. I’m currently aiming for a gap of around 6-7mm, which feels quite comfortable in my current setup. I just need to avoid making it too wide, or else I might escape entirely. Any thoughts on this area?

Lastly… most photos I see of people wearing devices (including mine) show them slipping down the shaft a bit rather than sitting tight against the body. That’s fine with me, but shouldn’t that mean the total length of the device needs to be reduced slightly as well?

I hope I’ve posted in the right place; I wasn’t sure if this belonged under “Devices”.

Thanks very much.
