Tube Length Compared to Tube Curve

I initially shared this in the Pros and cons of very short tubes thread, but realized my response had accidentally taken over by turning into its own question, so I’m posting it here instead.

I’m wearing the Uberkinky Stainless Steel Spiral - short version (it’s the device shown in my profile picture—though that image features the regular length model). I’ve discovered a fairly effective cleaning routine allowing me to wear it almost continuously; tomorrow marks seven weeks without even catching sight of the key.

With the Spiral, you can gently compress the loops to make the tube shorter yet straighter. With the short version, I’ve compressed it as much as possible. This fits very snugly for me: my glans completely fills the end section, and I’m pressed right up against the tip almost constantly.

The issue for me is that I can still climax while caged. In fact, in some ways, it might make climaxing more likely when I get “close to the edge” because the device seems to “grip” me; even if I stop what I’m doing, the tightness prevents me from halting the inevitable release.

I just realized this might be due to the tube being straight. When an erection begins, it kind of tent-poles upward (yes, it pulls my balls up with it). Even though I can’t achieve a fully rigid erection, I still manage to climax—I don’t need to be completely erect to cum.

So, I’ve bent it back into a curve, wondering if the curvature makes climaxing harder. It’s only been a short time since I tried this, so I can’t report results yet, but of course, the internal length is now longer. For the most part, I find myself about half an inch away from the end of the tube.

I have to admit that, thus far, I prefer the shorter length for comfort, but efficacy is more important to me right now.

Does anyone have any advice?

You need a short custom device with less exposed skin. The Looker designs from Steelworxx can cover the head. Then have him add more bars to the cage. You can still clean it; since so little skin is exposed, you basically won't be able to take it off.

Yes, I see your point. However, my issue is that I'm not circumcised. This means there's a lot of skin to manage and, more importantly, clean. I will look into this option though. Thanks for the advice.
