Chastity Devices During Air Travel Screening

Hi there, I’ve got my Riker device locked on and am heading to the airport in August. The whole apparatus is plastic except for the metal lock. Will it probably trigger the scanners? If it does, will that be really embarrassing for me? Appreciate your thoughts.

There seem to be plenty of discussions about this topic; it's a shame the search tool is acting up. From what I recall, some fellows have made it through while still locked in their plastic devices, others put theirs in carry-on luggage and re-lock once past security. Your results may vary here, depending on how much embarrassment risk you're willing to accept. To my mind, the worst-case scenario involves claiming your device is personal jewelry and allowing a pat-down if they press firmly. It's not against regulations, though tensions seem elevated currently. I don't get locked up that often myself, but my wife finds the idea of locking me quite intriguing; she hasn't ordered it yet (though once she regretted forgetting to do so).

I've passed through TSA multiple times with my Holy Trainer. I simply remove the lock. My underwear provides sufficient restraint to keep everything secure for a few minutes while navigating security. Once out of the line, I head straight to the nearest restroom and replace it. If you're comfortable holding your own key and resisting urges, this is an incredibly straightforward option.

We are thinking about buying a non-metal chastity device (CD), then securing it with a sturdy plastic zip tie and a numbered plastic security tag. Should I need to remove the device in an emergency, I could do so using nail clippers; however, she would notice because of the specific number on that security tag.

I've been traveling more than usual recently, and the body scanner picks up just about everything. I haven't passed through without receiving some kind of pat-down lately. People have even told me they found "something in my pockets" when there clearly wasn't! These scanners are *super* sensitive; they have even patted down my watch. A device surely wouldn't escape their notice! Eager to hear what others have experienced.

We flew with the baby a couple of weeks ago. The time they spent examining his belongings alone was ridiculous. Plus, those officers have zero sense of humor, so why give them any excuse to hassle you?

When traveling solo - Madam KH permits me to pass security "unlocked and naked"... However, I must send her a photo of my locked penis from the restroom. Usually within minutes of clearing security she texts demanding her "proof," complete with a numbered lock firmly secured around my cage... I remain locked until departure for the airport again - sending another picture or FaceTiming her if needed - then repeating the routine at TSA, re-locking as I pass through. If we travel together, after visiting the restroom, she will slip her hand over my crotch to ensure everything is secure. She takes chastity very seriously.

bigdtx8, I believe the OP is either full of it and/or craved significant attention along with free humiliation. Having read dozens of men (whom I now trust based on these forums) report no issues whatsoever with TSA.

I have had an artificial knee for thirteen years while flying numerous times to various locations. I would not trust any TSA agent(s) to react predictably either before or after my own experiences. So many different "rules" seem to shift daily, depending on direction of travel and more. Too much self-centered suspicion—or perhaps paranoia—is prevalent here (and rightly so): is this merely a test ensuring we pay attention? Just take it off.

Recently flew from London with a stainless steel device (specifically the YiFeng ZCS020 discussed in this archived discussion). Originally planned to wear it only up to the terminal, then remove before security; however having slept merely two hours and feeling somewhat grumpy, I suddenly thought "why not? Let's see what happens" so proceeded wearing it. First encountered a doorframe-style metal detector. Passed through—beep went off—the attendant behind pointed toward my iPhone left inside my shirt pocket -- oops. So placed that into the separate tray removed shoes stood for three seconds within one of those newer standing scanners. As expected, indicated presence of something. Subsequently received a pat-down by airport staff using handheld metal detectors. Moved along legs twice; upon reaching upper sections each time produced mild noise from detector then crossed hip/waist area where device sat producing distinctly louder sound. His facial expression I freely interpreted as "We discussed this during training but can't believe actual guys do this unto themselves". Would love to know his true thoughts though. Regardless he waved me onward thus concluding proceedings. NB: Previously traversed European airport security with Holy Trainer v2 whose tiny metal lock set off nothing whatsoever; passed both doorframe scanners and precise stand-three-seconds arms-raised types too. Suspect latter can detect presence visually but generally appear indifferent.

I have passed through airport security wearing a Jailbird twice with minimal additional scrutiny during the first occasion.

I can't wear mine while on my bikes. I think some guys manage it with cruisers, but both my bikes are more sporty, and the tank and cage do not get along. I'm not going to risk a crash due to sudden nut pain, or the potential of making a crash worse, by having something potentially yank hard or mash my bits!!! The last thing I need other than a bike incident, is airport security thinking I'm smuggling something past them in my pants!!! Not a good way to start or end a trip, and not worth it! Sport bikes are far superior to cruisers/tourers in terms of acceleration or cornering, but those very things can catch a rider out, if the bike is more capable than they are. Other than that, I've not seen quite what you're seeing.

Yeah, I've seen some where I could identify a front brake grab (and my wife will never do it again), but some just seem to fall down for no apparent reason. I ride a cruiser (Virago 1100) and one time I leaned it over far enough to catch the footpeg and did a little hop-spin...fortunately it was relatively low-speed in a parking lot and I didn't go down. I've run the Dragon on it...had a couple of hairy moments when I crossed the line into the opposite lane and pissed some folks off but nothing worse than that. I had promised the wife I wouldn't run it for time...but when I pulled out of the restaurant at Deal's Gap I couldn't stop my hand from clicking the stopwatch. I'll do it slower next time, but as it was Hurricane Katrina was only minutes behind me...and I rode the next 1,000 miles pretty much always wet...but it was worth it.

I realise this is way off topic for this forum and was not trying to turn this into a motorbike forum however UK roads are not he best as you get a lot of pot holes, greasy surfaces and diesel left on the roads for bikers to try and navigate:o . Also the riding ability of some people is quite unbelievable. totally unable to lean their bike, cant take a line through a corner and then when it all starts to get a bit wobbly they grab a hand full of brake mid corner and wonder why the front end disappears from under them.:roll::roll::roll:

ok so now that I have got off one of my 2 sports bikes (Suzuki GSXR 600 K1 and 1000 K7 for anybody who is interested) where I have no chance of being able to ware my device and never will do (else the device or my genitals will be crushed and or broken). I get back to the topic at hand which is airport security....... And I have made a bit of a break through........ I am not a fan of metal devices any way I actually like the CB range and ware a solid (CB2k) ring with a CB3k cage. so basically totally plastic and not a single metal part..... The only metal part is the lock. So was thinking of going to plastic locks (i.e. the little tags that are numbered to show you have not opened them) however these do tend to flap about a bit and they are also quite expensive for what they are and only come in bags of 10 (not that great if your taking it off and on a lot) So i decided that I would try just normal clear zip ties. And what do you know "THERE NUMBERED" ok not some big serial number but I got a pack of 100 zip ties and they are numbered 1 to 100 so it can be confirmed you have not cut it off and put a new one on. So I am on a plane next week going to ware my totally plastic device through airport security and see how i get on.:D

I report my experience on chastity at airport security in Europe. Usually, for short trips, I wear a plastic device closed with a zip tie. But for one longer trip (without wife) I decided to stay in my usual stainless steel cage (with metal lock) which I find more comfortable and easier to keep my package odour free. I was expecting the metal detector to trip off, and it did. I explained the origin of the bip to the security agent. He called his supervisor which took some time to arrive and I had to re-explain. As they were not allowed to check this body area, they called the airport police. More waiting time. Explaining again what my device is. I was brought to an room, and has to drop my pants to show to the police what I was wearing. After that I as allowed to take my plane. One funny question from security agent, while we were waiting: "What if your wife loses the key?":lol: For my return trip, the security agent was not so suspicious. I explained hat I was wearing, and let me go without further investigation. I'm not sure I would dare all this again (especially when considering the risk to miss my plane with those delays) . But at least, a few more men have now heard about chastity.

Funny to see this thread revived again. My experience with airports in Europe is mixed. There have been times I've been waved through easily, and other times when carrying mints in my pocket was cause for me to be pulled aside for a more closer check. Mrs Edge and I were recently on a trip to your side of the pond, and there was no way I'd want to take a chance flying in my steel cage. I did, however pack the old CB3000 because I was concerned that the metal cage in my luggage might have been a cause for concern. And I packed the CB3000 in the luggage, because I did not want to take a chance with the carry on.

I have been through security with my Jail Bird in my carry on well over 50 times. Sometimes I have been able to see the bag go through, and the stainless steel shines very brightly on the screen. I was surprised at how clearly the details of the device could be seen. It always went through with no problem, except . . . one time, I saw an agent carrying my carry on, and I thought to myself, "Here we go." It turned out to be a completely different issue, I had too many wires (charging cords) in one spot, so they had to check.

If you really want to make friends and influence people when the security (term used *very* loosely) folks are rummaging through your carry on bag, ask them "What they you searching for?" They will reply something to the effect of "I don't know....that's why we're searching." That's when I say "Then how will you know you found the right thing since you don't know what you're looking for?" Traveling with me is always an adventure. (By the way, they don't like being called out like that, but it is fun!)
