Urethral Device with Silicone Tubing?

Does anyone have experience with a urethral tube device featuring flexible silicone tubing? I previously tried one equipped with solid stainless steel, but I found it uncomfortable and ended up stopping. The silicone version seems likely to offer better comfort and safety. Since your urethra runs along the bottom side of the penis, this placement means the shaft isn’t perfectly centered. You could always choose to skip using the urethral tube altogether. I recently bought a comparable device that includes the "no pullout spike" ring. I found this particular ring quite painful to even put on initially. Yesterday, I finally got around to grinding down those sharp points to something more manageable, though I haven't tested it out yet. Historically, I've felt that spiked rings bring more hassle than they're worth, but that's just my personal view. I had also been thinking about trying a urethral device. However, the tubing size (8mm is 5/16") seemed a bit intimidating at first.

Actually, that 8mm size isn't uncomfortable or difficult to handle. Your urethra is larger than you might realize. Aside from a piercing, I believe a tube offers the highest level of security possible—approaching nearly 100% lockdown. You probably could pull out while using a tube, but once it's in place, getting back inside would be impossible.
