Stiff Chastity Compared to Glans Armor

I had my piercing done roughly two months back. It will take some time before I’m stretched out enough to lock up. I’ve scoured every device available and feel like I’ve narrowed the choices down.

I’m torn between a Rigid Impaler unit and the Glans Armor. Could someone guide me toward decent reviews? I stumbled on a few, but they didn’t offer much help. Personal experiences with either would be really useful to read up on.

Also, there aren’t many photos of them actually being worn that I’ve found so far. Links for those are welcome too. Cheers!

I totally relate; I went through the same process. Based on what I've gathered, Rigid Chastity is decent but quite slow in service and has weak communication. Mark at MCN (you might already know him or have seen his name elsewhere) is super quick to respond and very accommodating. He's actually planning to modify my Glans Armor soon once we finalize the details of what needs doing. The GA design is fairly open, which means you might find it easier to "defeat" compared to some Impalers, but you could work with Mark on potential modifications to prevent that. It’s incredibly lightweight and comfortable though; I often forget it's even there when I'm wearing it. Putting it on is also very straightforward, something I don't think the Impalers do as well since you have to thread that long, curved piece through your piercing and out. I’m not exactly an unbiased observer, but I lean toward the Glans Armor because if anything about it doesn’t work for you, there’s usually a workaround rather than just accepting that you’ve wasted $250.

Right, I've been talking with Mark too. He's excellent. My main worry is whether I'll be able to orgasm while wearing it. Hopefully, securing a snug fit will make that outcome impossible.

Don't expect too much; it is possible to reach an orgasm in virtually any device if you discover the right method. However, if the apparatus fits tightly enough that your urethra gets restricted during arousal, the climax will mostly be 'ruined' and unsatisfying, possibly even a bit painful...and it might not provide much relief. You could end up feeling hornier and more frustrated shortly after. Eventually, you might decide it isn't worth the effort.

Yeah, that was my worry as well. First off, definitely ensure it is tight enough. Mine wasn't at first (my mistake), and the result was that even when fully erect, I could slide the cage itself up and down a bit right over the glans, effectively using it like a toy to get off. Making it tighter will also introduce some pinch, making your erection harder to hold. You might also want to consider going slightly longer than just covering the head, simply to ensure the glans are more 'isolated'. Another point is that yes, its design is fairly open. You could ask Mark about adding more material to the cage to make it tougher for fingers to get in (I'm doing that specifically to make touching the bottom of the head—the 'sweet spot'—more difficult). On the flip side, if you make it so tight that you can't touch yourself at all, cleanliness becomes much harder. That's something I get quite paranoid about, and yet it seems like a major advantage of this type of device. Ultimately though, this is a cage that allows for a full erection; getting an orgasm in it shouldn’t be too difficult because if you are really horny with a strong erection, you’re basically 95% of the way there. Perhaps if you chose the Impaler model that is completely closed and made as long as possible, you could make reaching climax at least somewhat of a chore without using a vibrator—but then you have to remove it for regular cleaning. This is why my long-term hope is finding a partner who enjoys this lifestyle so I can get an actual chastity belt.
