Budget-friendly Chinese units for measuring up?

Sharing this again as a new thread to try and catch more eyes. Previously, I bought both the CB6000 and the Holy Trainer 2, but neither really worked for me. (My tader likes to slip back easily.) My plan was to grab some of these budget-friendly options from DHGate to test out how well they fit. Has anyone else bought Chinese chastity devices mainly as a way to gauge size before ordering something custom? If yes, did you find that approach useful in the end?

Not sure about using them specifically as sizing aids, but I am considering picking some up to explore different features. Honestly, a few of the prices are lower than a two-person lunch at Burger King.

I have (and am currently wearing) an MCN custom device. However, I've acquired over six steel Chinese models in the past year to test sizing parameters like tube diameter and length, as well as specific design elements such as curvature, rake, cap style, and base ring shape. In my view, it has been a smart way to figure out what I want. With an average cost of $20 per unit, you really can't go wrong. My only worry is whether the drawer in my sock box can handle all that accumulating steel weight.
