A Chinese PA gadget where the piercings get caught in a pinch

I’m wearing one of the PA devices shown in the attachment, which has a 2g/6mm piercing. It’s hands down one of the most secure and top-tier gadgets I’ve ever used, all for under $20.

The only drawback is that there’s a bit of play with the piece itself. If any skin gets pushed into where the jewelry goes through, even slight movement can pinch off a tiny sliver of tissue. This occurs pretty regularly.

I’ve been pondering ways to fix this using a washer or something similar, but haven’t landed on a perfect solution yet. Does anyone else have experience with this specific device?
