Ordering A Custom HTv3

Has anyone purchased an HT featuring the custom cartridge/message printed on top of the ring? How good is that feature really? Is it worth paying $30 extra? We’re about to order Kitten’s Holy Trainer for me. She wants a version with my avatar design, in purple (which is her favorite color) on an HTv3. The tricky part is figuring out how to place the order correctly. The website says: If you want to insert a custom cartridge, send us an illustration, a text or a picture or a drawing of the layout you want. Before it’s manufactured, you will receive by E-mail a preview of your design that you will have to validate. It doesn’t look like there is a direct way on the custom order form to upload an illustration or image. The form states: Ask us for a personalized template through this form, we will reply by e-mail as soon as possible to prepare your order. Should I just mention in the message box that I want the “custom cartridge” option and wait for them to reach out with instructions on submitting my design? Any other advice for making the buying process smoother and faster?

Send them an email - actually, send it ahead of time with your question. Since they are a small operation, they will understand exactly what you mean.
