Lubricating Chastity Devices

I recently experimented with five different products to help guide KBT’s ring and cage into position, after using other methods such as the stocking approach. First though, I want to explain how I get KTB inside his HT (clone) cage for any newcomers who might be just as uncertain about the process as I was a month ago. As a beginner, locking my husband in a chastity device felt intimidating and genuinely scary. To start, I apply some lubricant around the inner edge of the ring before gently pushing his testicles through one by one, then guiding his penis inside. Once the ring is seated comfortably, I add a bit more lube to the tip of his penis to help slide him into the cage. Right before connecting the cage to the ring, I slip my pinkie under the ring where the lock sits (from above with my nail resting against his penis), then guide the tube over my finger and underneath the ring so he doesn’t get pinched while I align both parts; after that, I pull out my finger and insert the lock. Finally, I place a Q-Tip into the small opening at the back of the cage and gently adjust the tip of his penis until it’s positioned perfectly for bathroom use without making a mess inside the device; this also wipes away any extra lube. BTW, he really likes this step. LOL The products I’ve tested, along with my notes, are listed below. #1. Baby Powder. *While this helped him slide into the tube easily, it was messy, and after just a few hours locked up, I had to take off his cage and send him to the bathroom to clean out the device & wash himself. #2. Eucerin® Original Healing Lotion. Fragrance free. For dry, sensitive skin. *This product is also messy, leaving behind a white film in the cage. #3. Astroglide® Ultra Gentle Gel Pure Personal Lubricant. Hypoallergenic, water-based, no drip, long-lasting. *This one dried too fast, felt sticky, and left a residue. #4. Astroglide® Personal Lubricant (clear liquid) *This product was also sticky with a film. #5. KY® Liquid Personal Lubricant. *This product went on very smoothly without stickiness, film, or residue. I checked him the next morning and later in the day, seeing no issues at all. Last night I took his cage off for a bit so he could dry thoroughly after swimming, and there were still no problems. It seems to have become our “go-to” product now. Your comments and experiences with lubricants are very welcome and greatly appreciated.:D

Aveeno moisturizing lotion with Aloe. Use a little and only where you need it.

I've tried a few lubricants and have settled on "Healing Ointment" from CVS (Light blue tube in the baby care section). It goes on well, is unscented, and makes things slippery! What more could I ask for?

If I decide I need some lube inside the tube, I use a silicone lube. Only takes a couple of drops and lasts a long time. If I am getting any redness or irritation from the ring, I use A&D ointment. (basically for diaper rash, but it works great on any irritations). However that does have a baby lotion type smell. I may have to try the Healing Ointment from CVS suggested above. And I have seen Aveeno recommended by many others. But everyone is different and what I use works for me so I have never tried it. But that would be another option to see what works best.

happilylockedman & gungadn, Thanks for your responses and sharing your information. I tried the Eucerin because I have a ton of it that was given to me recently at the Brooks Army Medical Center Burn Clinic after being released from the burn unit at the hospital there, to use on some serious burns I received in early May. There's also the distinct possibility that I may have used too much of the lotion. I'm used to having to slather it on. LOL

Johnson’s. It resembles a hand gel but is denser. Extremely slick and long-lasting. I apply it before bed... which helps minimize the pulling sensation.

Remember that oils (baby oil gel and coconut oil/butter included) can trap germs, skin sebum, sweat, etc., because they don't rinse off easily. You'll need to wash more thoroughly, particularly if you wear an enclosed cage like the Holy Trainer or CBX.

Hi, I've found that I prefer a all-metal cage featuring a hinged ring and cylinder lock. The metal's weight causes the cage to drop down when standing, which prevents it from bothering my testicles. Regarding our topic... I enjoy using 'Vermont's Original Bag Balm Ointment'. It’s an old-fashioned product farmers use to keep cows' udders smooth and prevent chafing. The ointment stays put all day, particularly where the ring sits under the scrotum. Just adding my two cents....Moooo:lol:

@lee_floridaboy I'm familiar with the bag balm; it's a solid product... my mother was born and raised in VT, and I've lived up there twice. I might give it a shot. The HolyTrainer v3 is heading over from Switzerland. I'll stick with KY Liquid since it doesn't leave residue inside this tube-style cage. I'm not sure yet what to use on his metal cage; his 'test cage' arrived just two days ago, and I had quite the struggle getting that ring onto him. I do think KY Liquid isn't ideal for a metal cage. I have several other products here that worked well in the tube version, so I'll start there. Thanks for the heads up.

I use baby oil with my Jailbird. It's incredibly easy to keep clean, so the oil factor isn't an issue.

I slide into the base ring and cage without needing baby oil. Once positioned and secured, I apply it to specific areas to help everything settle correctly. Being uncut, I lube the head so it slides all the way to the end of the cage without dragging my foreskin along. I also lube the underside of the ring and the gap area so that skin at the base of the cage moves comfortably inside rather than bunching up or pinching down there.

If the end of the test cage seems "too wide," it means the cage length is excessive. As long as his cock head rests at the very end, it won't be too big there.

The diameter of my cage's tip is wider than the shaft rings. My penis head has roughly the same width as the shaft, so that specific part feels too large. When flaccid, I'm longer than the cage and fill it completely to the end.

Keep in mind that some "water based" lubricants include glycerin or other forms of yeast/bacteria food;)
